Drisn't what she says she is....someone who "listens to each parent's perspective, dreams, desires, wishes and goals for your child(ren)" I spent hours in session with my former husband where she allowed him to berate me, accuse me of negative things, question me, and continue to talk about issues that aren't in the PC's orders We left after months, and almost dollars later with reports out of about legit meetings and having more conflict than ever If you think a parent coordinator is supposed to "resolve conflict" you are wrong This parent coordinator allowed a parent to "vent" which caused disunity and then helped come to a compromise We had many pointless meetings, discussions and nothing positive She didn't counsel us on proper communication, emailing, and/or how to make peaceful decisions outside of the PC If you need a PC, interview them before you pay money, make sure you are clear about what they can do or what they won't do
Dr. isn't what she says she is....someone who "listens to each parent's perspective, dreams, desires, wishes and goals for your child(ren). " I spent hours in session with my former husband where she allowed him to berate me, accuse me of negative things, question me, and continue to talk about issues that aren't in the PC's orders.
We left after 7 months, and almost 3000 dollars later with 2 reports out of about 7 legit meetings and having more conflict than ever.
If you think a parent coordinator is supposed to "resolve conflict" you are wrong. This parent coordinator allowed a parent to "vent" which caused disunity and then helped come to a compromise.
We had many pointless meetings, discussions and nothing positive.
She didn't counsel us on proper communication, emailing, and/or how to make peaceful decisions outside of the PC.
If you need a PC, interview them before you pay money, make sure you are clear about what they can do or what they won't do.
