(2) rings which they said that was missing. We've been doing this line of business for almost two (2) years now and this is the first time that someone complaint that they lost something. Unfortunately, we don't have any proof to show what are the things that they have prior to being transported to another facility. As the owner and the one who transported the patient, I won't do anything to tarnish the reputation of my own business. In fact, if we have seen anything that was left by the patient after the transport, I see to it that such will be returned the day itself.While it is true that the consumer had made many calls to us, it is not true that we refuse to resolve this issue since we are really in good faith that we did not took the two (2) rings that they are claiming. How can we return or pay something that we did not even took in the first place. Was there any proof as well to say that we took the rings? I think the admission paper that they have from both facility doesn't prove that we took the jewelry, it might happen that it might got lost during the transport but to say that we took it is unfair and baseless.I agree that we would like to settle this once and for all without the need to take this to litigation. We would like to submit our response to this complaint to explain our side as well. On the other hand, we also see it as defamatory to us the post made by the consumer in Yelp accusing us of something that has not yet been proven and with this it is also hard for me to see my wife who is currently pregnant to go through this emotional turmoil since our reputation has been besmirch by such false allegation. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The facts are, my mother was discharged from Kaiser with 2 rings on her right hand. My wife and I saw both of the rings on her hand the same day, prior to discharge. I have paperwork from Kaiser showing the rings in her possession on discharge. Amethyst Medical Transport was called and transported her to a facility in Santee. Admission papers (which I have) at this facility show she had no rings in her possession. She is a stroke victim and can not move her left arm/hand, so she did not take them off.  I never said you [redacted] /Amethyst Transport stole the rings but as you also state they could have went missing during the transport. If they went missing during transport then your company should possess insurance to cover such losses. After many phone calls by us to you, you have refused to assist us in any manner to resolve this. You have refused to even give use your insurance company so we can file a claim. You have never returned any of our calls, you simply deny our claim of missing property. The facts are very simple she had the rings when you picked her up and when you dropped her off she did not have the rings, what would any normal person think based on these facts?  Based on your response, I'm willing to change my Yelp comments.
