I bought my house on May 19, that had previous foundation repair but it passed inspection and came with a lifetime transferable warranty and a Final Evaluation Report for Foundation Repair furnished by Nortier Engineering Consultants, LLC for foundation repair completed on March 25,
When I moved in the house in May the doors in the bathroom opened and closed as they should and there weren't any cracks in the ceiling at that time However, Texas experienced some heavy rain mid June and at that time I noticed a crack in the ceiling and the doors were sticking which prompted my call to GL Foundation at *** After explaining the issues with the foundation I was experiencing at that time, *** advised me to wait a couple of weeks for the soil to dry and the foundation should function as it should
After waiting a couple of weeks the doors won't close at all and there are cracks in the ceiling So I call GLP back and *** states he will come by to look at the problems caused by the foundation repair and said he could be at my residence at 5:on June 21, Then 5:approaches and I receive a text asking if is too late which was subsequently cancelled minutes before So we make arrangements to have him come to the house on June 22, at 2:PM and doesn't get here until
Once he gets to my residence with his machine he states he repaired the foundation and it's performing as it should and states the cracks in the ceiling and the doors are not closing due to moisture
Within the months of the foundation repair being completed the performance from when I bought the house has decreased significantly so I proceeded with obtaining a second opinion Which happened to be the same company that provided the person I bought the house from an estimate Was I surprised when they advised me that the foundation to date is in the same condition it was when they furnished the first estimate? Not really
Furthermore, when *** with GLP was here to ensure the foundation was performing as it should he offered to sell me an app for $that would let me know in advance what the stock market is predicted to doIf this was true, wouldn't we all be millionaires?
That being said it is apparent that GLP's "lifetime" warranty as good as the man running the company!
