I Booked Amex Limo in Aug for my Daughter Sweet 16 Party Bus for Sept 12. I spoke with Anna over the phone on numerous occasions just to make sure everything was ok and we were on schedule with the date. My daughter, my son girlfriend and myself went out to see the bus in person and that is where we met Steve. He explained all the details of the bus and I was very impressed on how much he cared about the kids and their safety. Three days before the party Steve called me to confirm all final details for Saturday. When Saturday came the bus was supposed to arrive at 9:45 15 minutes before the 10:00 schedule so I can pay the balance and go discuss anything else. The Bus did not show I called the company they said let them call the driver to see where the job was. Then I received a call from Steve who said the bus caught a Flat. I said Where are you he said why do you want to come fix the flat. I said I just want to know how far you are .He said the Tow truck said they would be there in an hour, do I want to wait or reschedule. I said I have 50 kids waiting with a photographer and a videographer. So no, I do not want to reschedule. we waited and waited I kept calling the Boss Peter he sent me to voice mail the main number no longer picked up and Steve became very rude and disrespectful over the phone. He would call occasional saying I am still waiting for the Tow truck company. About 11:30 he called and said the Flat cannot be fixed so they can’t come. My daughter was very devastated and embarrassed. I had to tell 50 kids the bus was not showing after waiting for over 2hrs. I had to make sure kids got home safely because they parents was supposed to pick them up at 3:00am now its 11:30 and raining. This company never called me the next day to explain anything till this day I have not heard from them. The next wee my daughter friend was scheduled to use the same bus and they never showed again another 50 kids waiting in the street for a bus that never came. Amex shatters children lives and dreams. My daughter planned this day for a far back as I can remember now she will just remember the embarrassing sweet 16. I can’t believe a Company like this is still in business. So unprofessional and uncaring to the feelings of anyone. Do not ever use this company or you will be sorry they will not show and ruin your whole day.

Review: On May [redacted] 2015 Amex limo party bus services arrived to the wrong location. They did not call once they arrived so I figured they were late. I reached out to call ana ( a representative from their company) and she told me they were on the corner but they were on the wrong corner waiting for thirty minutes. After they arrived to the right location 30 minutes after the pick up time, the host that was supposed to be provided for the bus was not dressed properly, his hair was not done and his breath smelled of a foul odor. My friends were complaining because they thought I found him on the street and they did not want to get drinks from him. As we loaded the bus the dj I hired could not play the music because the auxiliary cord was broken. [redacted] , the original host I spoke with promised that we would have an auxiliary port for music. And when I called a few days before [redacted] told me everything was working, he would provide me with ice, cups, water, auxiliary cord, and the fog that comes from the bottom of the seats. When we were finally ready to pull off the bus did not have ice, cups , fog or a working auxiliary cord. So the bus driver had to make four stops to find ice. After making so many stops the bus was two hours late picking up at the second location. [redacted] told me it would only take 30 minutes to get from Brooklyn to [redacted]. Manhatten, therefore I informedy guest that we will arrive by 1230 the latest. But due to the false information given to me we arrived well after 215 am Sunday may [redacted]. My guest were standing on a corner waiting for about two hours. And the driver told me they can only take local streets and it is impossible to get the second location in 30 minutes. As a customer paying $1700 there is no excuse for lack of communication and false information given. The services Amex limo promised was not met. My graduation celebration was a disaster. With the host having no knowledge on how to use the bus my guest had to figure it out which took away their time from enjoying the party bus. And at the end of the night the driver was told to announce when he got to [redacted]treet to drop off some of my guest. He did not make an announcement and my guest had to get off at a later stop which made it harder for them to get home at 5am.

with all that went wrong I simply called ana the next morning may [redacted]. She was furious as to why [redacted] would give false information as a host. She told me ([redacted]) and my aunt ([redacted]) that she would contact the owner ([redacted]) so that he can accommodate me with either hours on the bus or some money back.

The next day my aunt spoke to [redacted] and they agreed to have me choose either 300$back or 3 hours on the bus. [redacted] told my aunt to have me call within the next hour or tomorrow to choose.

I ,[redacted] called within the next hour and [redacted] was busy so I called the next day. On Tuesday June [redacted] I called [redacted] to finalize my decision. He then begin yelling into the phone and getting very disrespectful and sarcastic. He said "how about I pay you 10,000$ to use my bus", I explained I was very unpleased with the 8 or 9 things that went wrong. The discussion ended with [redacted] shouting and telling me he will check the GPS and call me back. I have tried to reach out but they simply ignore my calls.Desired Settlement: $300 that was an agreement offered by [redacted]

Review: I hired Amex Limousine located at [redacted], for my daughter’s birthday party on December **, 2013. Upon arrival, I spoke to owner [redacted] telephone number ###-###-#### & ###-###-#### & ###-###-#### and left a cash deposit of 900.00.

The agreement was for a party bus to seat 50 to 55 people, to arrive at 6pm at my house, ride around the city of New York for six hours seeing the sites and stop for one picture and have the kids back by 12am.

On December [redacted], Amex Limousine arrived at 630pm (late) the driver Nelson Fernandes asked for the remaining balance of 1233.00, which I gave him in cash. He then informed me that he needed to get gas. We then picked up the kids from a previously planned destination in the area of my daughter’s school and headed to New York. Once we arrived in New York we stopped to get gas (more of my paid time wasted). We then stopped to take a photograph with the group of kids on the bus outside by the bus. Then we road around for approximately 2hrs and was stopped by The New York Department of Transportation at 955pm for the following violations; 393.9T- Inoperable tail lamps-left and right sides and 393.9(a)-inoperable required lamps: red rear stop/brake-left and right sides. These Violations issued to Amex Limousine put the “bus out of service”, leaving the party bus with 50 kids on the side of the road.

The bus driver immediately called owner [redacted] and informed him of the situation and [redacted] informed the driver and I that a mechanic would be out shortly to fix the violations. [redacted] then offered a three hour ride on him at a later date for my inconvenience. I informed him that I would take him up on that thinking that his mechanic would arrive in a timely manner. After a half hour the driver then called the owner [redacted] back in my presence and asked for an estimated time of arrival and was told he’s close by and will arrive any minute. At approximately 1140pm, I spoke to [redacted] an informed him that we are still sitting on the side of the road and his mechanic did not show up and its been almost two hours. His reply was “Well electrocute me, fry me, what are you gonna do, I told you he was on his way, what do you want from me?” At this point, I said to him “who do you think you talking to like that, I’ve been very nice to you considering everything that has been going on with this trip and you talk to me like this.” [redacted] and his wife then stopped answering my calls and the driver calls. The mechanic arrived at 1230am and fixed the problems which took about 15mins. We sat on the side of the road in front of a building from 955pm to 1245am while a tenant from the building harassed us by coming out side multiple times asking us to leave.

We arrived back to New Jersey at approximately 130am and some of the parents left and as a results I have to take eleven of the kids home in my personal vehicle.

This was an awful experience for my daughter and I. My daughter’s friends were constantly asking why are we sitting here. Some of the kids were calling they’re family and friends saying the bus broke down. My daughter was very unhappy and so was I. I do not wish to ever receive any services from [redacted] and his wife Anna. I would appreciate a refund of my money for the trouble we experience and service I received. Please see the attached violations and Amex limousine invoice #[redacted] which I paid in full $2133.00 in cash.Desired Settlement: I would appreciate a refund of my money for the trouble we experience and service I received.
