I have the signed contract by this person that shows what I was contracted to do and what the conditions areHe is just simply trying to get some paper trail to show I took his money when he clearly knows he is on breach on contractI'm meeting lawyers now to sue him for it because he knows he tried all he could to get out of a contract that he never wantedAlso I'm in the process of putting a lien on his house because of all my work for two months plus to get him his permit all while he knew that his best option would be to force me to do things that he knew were gonna take me to renounce the contract and not fire meWhen he saw I wasn't gonna accept that he fire me without thinking about the consequencesAll of us know that the best option for him to get his money back is to take me to court if he knew he is rightWhy not? why try to destroy my name and my business with the Revdex.com? because that's what he told me when he fired me when I told him he was on breach of contract and I have the emails to prove itHis email even said I was being fired due to "safety" reasonsWhat safety? he told me that the email detailing my firing was gonna be lengthy because I demanded an explanation and I can show you his email simply has a very few wordsThis person, I insist, is a fraudHe claims I didnt pay my engineer when I know I did and I can provide his info if necessaryHe claims I pocketed all of his money when he knows I paid for all the permits using that money, the builders risk insurance, all the plans, all the people working on the plans that were required by *** *** and Revdex.com can find out about itAnd all the driving around town trying to get all these documentation he makes it seem like they were done with my imaginationThese take time and money and that deposit was to do all thatAs a matter of fact the contract he signed clearly says he was supposed to give me that deposit plus thousand dollars when he signed on his loanHe knew the contract specified that and since he wanted out of the contract he was urged to get out of our contract because his intention was never to follow through with itThis person *** ** is the one that should be put here as a person of no integrity that doesn't honor his word or any contractI can provide the telephone numbers for the concrete guys and excavation guys that can testify that he is making them do a lot of work for free just like he was trying to make me do*** ** is a fraud that takes advantage of the people and thinks all of this can be done for a few dollarsIf necessary I will provide the signed contract were you will see what I was supposed to do and take pictures of what he is doingTotally differentHe accuses me of using plans from other house when I was trying to adjust to all the changes he was doing to his house when I started doing the foundation workI was gonna have my engineer approve these changes and that's the reason why I was using the plans for the original house that he contracted me to do (*** * *** **), that he claims I was doing and the concrete guy still has those plans because the plans the engineer provided showed a different garage wall of what I was contracted to do and this person wasn't gonna pay for that change order, that's why I used this planI would ask Revdex.com to remove this complaint because it is slandering my nameI will use this complaint when I sue *** ** and his wife not only for breach of contract but also for defamation because I know the contract we have proves completely different of what he is claimingHe is out to destroy my name and my business with liesPlease remove this fraudulent complaint

I was contracted by [redacted] and his wife to finish their basement only. They even went to see another basement I was finishing in [redacted] and they were very impressed with my work and the recommendation the homeowner gave about me as a contractor and as a person. This homeowner even told them they...

couldnt go wrong with hiring me. So they hired me and I started to work right away. After a couple of weeks the lady homeowner asked me if I could remodel their kitchen. I told them I could put them in contact with people but they insisted on me doing the work, so I did it at cost, without charging them a single penny. Then they added a window on their kitchen and I was specific that only for the framing work and nothing else. After I did it they said that they expected me to redo all the electrical work on their kitchen for free because they understood that I had agreed to it. I decided to help them and do it out of pocket. Then they decided to add backsplash, paint, more electrical work and everything for the same price. I told them I needed to charge them for it because I couldnt come out of pocket. The lady was very upset because obviously we were taking longer than the 2 months they basement was supposed to take but I told them that remodeling their kitchen was never part of my original scope of work and that they couldnt hold me responsible for it, specially doing it for free. So I went on vacation to [redacted] with my wife, and all of a sudden the lady sttopped talking to me. I needed to schedule things with them and finally her husband [redacted] called me saying that I was done and that they were gonna finish the kitchen without my help and that they were not gonna pay me the money they owed me on the basement contract , 3000 dollars, plus the 2000 they owed me for me paying the granite guy plus the window and the other changes in their kitchen because according to my contract I was supposed to be done in two months. Very unfair because they were making me responsible for remodeling all their kitchen at the same time. So obviously I got mad at [redacted] and told him I didnt want to see hi again, and this is what he takes as a phisycal threat, which was never my intention, but I was very mad at them for taking advantage of me. By the way, their basement was fully completed. Then a couple of days ago he sent me an email offering me 200 dollars as a settlement for my work. I took that offer as an insult, so I told him to never contact me again. And when I told him I was gonna sue him he goes to Revdex.com to lie about all this situation instead of confronting the truth and pay me what Im owed. Very deceiving people. This kind of people is the one that gives contractors a bad name. They expect many things for free and think one lives out of the air.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response for the same reasons I have previously mentioned.I do not know how long it will take for [redacted] to own up to his actions. He has told me, and other people that he is a man of God. He should leave God out of this. If I gave money to a crook, then shame on me. It has nothing to do with God or anything else.A contract is an agreement between two parties. It is meant as an agreement. If one party does not do the work, such as [redacted], I am not obligated to him or his company. It would be likewise, although not the case, if I did not pay him, he is not obligated to me. A contract does not mean that I am bound to [redacted] no matter what he does or how he does it.  I am building this house to fit the needs of myself and my family, not to meet the needs of [redacted]' convenience. I did fire [redacted] because he did not provide a safe working environment. On the day of excavation, [redacted] did not call 811 for a dig request prior to the excavation crew coming up to do the work. As a result, the crew had dug into a power line. Luckily, no one was hurt or worse. After being informed of the danger,  I could not get a hold of [redacted]. I had to call 811 to request an emergency dig request myself to avoid any other potential hazards. I have attached a copy of that. I called for the request. NOT [redacted].I am not obligated to give [redacted] an explanation as to why I terminated services. [redacted] insists that I am a fraud. This seems like an easy thing for him to do when a customer has a complaint for him. He will call them names and whatever it takes to "defend himself." I have attached a copy of another review [redacted] where he calls the reviewer a liar as well. It is hard to believe that a consumer, who puts time and money into a project to lie and steal from a contractor, when the contractor is the one in fact holding onto the money. Much like [redacted] is holding onto my money.Again, [redacted] never paid his contractors. He has never submitted any invoices, or actual proof of payment. Writing PAID on an invoice is not the same as seeing a cancelled check. [redacted] claims he paid for Builder's Risk Insurance, but he has never furnished any actual proof of payment. When working with my bank and requesting these documents, [redacted] was very agitated and ultimately did not provide actual proof of payment. [redacted] continues to make claims, but he has not furnished any actual names or phone numbers, references or paperwork. [redacted] has my money and I had to pay the contractors. I could have just not paid these contractors, but I did. I paid these contractors, and they have not had any issues of working with me. I am not out to destroy [redacted]'s name. I am here to present the facts. I want the facts to be known to other people who are needing a contractor so that they do not run into the same issues as I did with [redacted], Amezquita Construction, A & G Contracting. My complaint and reviews are legitimate and it will not end here. [redacted] claims defamation, but I have factual evidence. I am not pulling things out of the sky. I have better things to do with my time. [redacted] does not understand the consequences or result of placing a lien on my property.I look forward to proving my claim. This complaint will not go away until I get my refund and I want the public to know what kind of contractor [redacted] is.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

This homeowner is a scammer. Beware all contractors in Colorado of [redacted]. Also goes by [redacted], and has a business called [redacted] in [redacted]. After he contacted me through [redacted] I showed him and his wife a house I had built in [redacted] and he even told me that he had already...

seen the house and that they love it. I told him I could build him the exact same house for 500k. He agreed and signed the contract. He told me about the soils he had and I agreed to do a structural floor so we could avoid the problem. After a few days he called me and said he wanted a structural slab instead of the structural floor. I told him how much that was gonna cost, which in a 3000 square foot foundation is quiet a bit and he was really mad at it. I told him that our contract specified the floor not the concrete but I agreed to do it for the same price. Then he cameback and added roof to his deck. This is a 1000 sf deck and he also wanted me to do it for the same price. I agreed to it because I really wanted to show my willingness to work with them. Then he added 80 sf to their foundation to make a bigger kitchen, to which I also agreed and everything for still the same price. Then he added 200 sf to his garage to park an RV and thats when I started to get concerned about how he was trying to take advantage of me. Then the last time he called me to his office and demanded that I added 300 square foot more to his foundation, all for the same price, and I protested, he got upset because he said he was sure I could do it and I understood he just wanted to get rif of me and default on the contract. So, when I refused to do all this extra work for free he found his excuse to fire me and not pay me. In other words, finding excuses to destroy the contract. It is true he gave me 20k to start, but he knew it was a deposit for my contractor fee and he was supposeed to pay for the items as specified on our contract. But still I paid 12k for all the plans, 4500 for the 60% [redacted] requires you to pay in advance when you submit plans, plumbing plans, schedule j for heating and windows, engineering at 2000 and 1800 for builders risk insurance that his lender asked for. In top of that I was working for this guy for 2 months trying to get the permits and that was for free. The other 5k he is talking about he paid it directly to the county for his permit, which the county rejected because it was a third party check so I paid it out of my pocket and he just refunded it . And I can give you the numbers for the concrete guy and the excavator, which are friends of mine and they told me how much more piers and foundation he has added to their original scope of work and everything for the same price. So to all my fellow contractors, beware of this guy, [redacted]. He will make you work for free like he did with me and in top of that smearing my name with lies. And about me changing the plans for other house plans is just a flat out lie. Go for yourself to check out the house Impromised to build for him which is located at [redacted] and the one he is building at [redacted] and you judge what he has decided to build compared to what he contracted me to build. He was just trying to get rid of me so he wouldnt have to pay the contract and save the money on my fee. And he even told me how much his mother in law told him it was a mistake to hire a contractor for something he could do himself. So this guy instead of saying the truth about getting rid of me to save the money has to resort to lies to justify this because he knows Im in the process of suing him for breach of contract, defamation and tortouis interferance of contract because of all the changes and excuses he used to get out of our contract.
