I Hired the Montgomery location to move our items from Montgomery to Huntsville and place in storage What we were asked was do we want to buy insurance and we said yes they told us how much we paid it and we discovered that when we arrived in Huntsville to unload our stuff they had damaged our new washer our new drink cooler our outdoor frig and deep deep scratches on several pieces of furniture When we contacted them to discuss they informed me that we didn't buy enough insurance and if we paid them another $then they could process the claim We have now moved into our new home to discover that our 55in brand new TV is destroyed and our brand new Stainless frig in destroyed and also we have china that is worth $100+ a piece and they are broken, we also had a brand new printer that was boxed up by them and turned upside down and leaked all over our carpet in our new 300k home

I was extremely disappointed with my experience with Motivated Movers of MontgomeryThree guys showed up to deliver and set up my brand new gun safeGot off their truck, one with a camera, and asked permission to video this set up since they had a new contract with the retailerThe safe came down and was carried in with no problems, but when the began the process of anchoring it to the floor, no one really seemed to know what or how to do thatThey left to get a longer drill bit but returned shortly after saying they had phoned someone and only needed to remove some casters from the bottom ofthe safe During the installation, the center top edge of the paint was chipped
I waited several days to hear from Motivated Movers about the damage, but never got a callWhen I called to check on it, I got a call back from Jerry K***He assured me he would be checking on a resolution to our problemTWO WEEKS LATER, no contact from Mr K*** nor Motivated Movers had called backWhen I contacted him he said the damage was not caused by them, and Intimated that I was lying and they were not responsible for anything.He was rude and inconsiderate and unreasonable
I next located and contacted the owner who checked out my complaint and was also wanting to deny the claim, but did listen to reasonBrand new safe, seen on the floor of the retailer the day before the move undamaged, packaged by the retailer to prevent damage during the move., now chipped in the most prominent place on the safeWe FINALLY reached an agreement on damages and loss of value
Mr K***'s goal was to discourage claims and hope I would forget it and go awayHad he been my employee, he would be fired for treating customers the way he didThey have insurance for these unfortunate occasions
I strongly urge you to find another mover
