Review: 1. Water leakage in two corners in the newly expanded basement.

2. Water leakage along the floor in the newly expanded basement.

(Amiano & Son Construction denied taking any action to address these leakages. They said that this is caused by the unsettled soil outside the basement foundation and the problem will be gone soon. However, these leakages are ca. 6 feet under the ground level. How could this issue settle by itself?)

3. Ceiling fan in the great room is not installed properly and is making loud loose part noises. Builder refused to check or send an electrician to check what is wrong and jumped to conclude that this is the quality issue of the ceiling fan.Desired Settlement: For Problem # 1 and # 2 (basement leakage), the leakage must be repaired. At least a solid water proof coating/protection to be performed.

For Problem # 3 (ceiling fan noise), send an electrician to check and install the balance kit that was not installed.

I am rejecting this response because:

Even if Amiano sent their warranty manager to inspect the leakages in June 2013, their warranty manager just showed up, denied to acknowledge that neither these leakages nor the ceiling fan noises are issues and denied to send any service man to fix any of these issues correspondingly. I tried to contact the owners of Amiano ([redacted] and [redacted]) and got the same responses. Therefore, I am contacting Revdex.com and hope you can help me resolve these issues.

In our previous response we provided documentation from the [redacted] We provided an email sent by Mrs. [redacted] stating she was using old pictures, we supplied our warranty that she has been provided with. We did offer to install a new fan if she went out and bought one as our company and our electrician both feel the fan she currently has is faulty. As for the water we have called her numerous times to come out and see the dampness. She has refused us entry. Attached is an email that I had to cut and paste. I can send you the original tp an email address. It is dated July 12, 2013 asking Ms. [redacted] about [redacted] coming out to address additional issues that she called us about. It also asks her to send us pictures of water because there was a lot of rain at that time. I did not get pictures or a response as to our employee coming out. We have been upfront and honest with evidence provided to you. At this time we believe this case should be closed showing that we did preform our due diligence to meet customers demands the correct way and up to industry standards.
