To whom it may concern:These bar stools were sold, to be special ordered, on January 10, 2016.  The stools were ordered with kick plates, no nail trim.  The nail trim was not specified on the customer's invoice; this is a add-on, not something that is standard from the manufacturer. ...

Tobias Manufacturer generally takes 8-10 weeks to special order, these stools arrived in just four weeks.  [redacted] set up a time to deliver the client her stools on February 10, 2016.  When the stools were delivered the client pointed out that there should have been kick plates on the stools and there were not.  It is standard procedure for a manufacturer to fix any issues the quickest, best way.  In this instance the simply send the kick plates either directly to the client or to our store.  The original sales person from [redacted] had these kick plates mailed directly to the client.  Unfortunately Tobias Manufacturer mailed the customer just the tack nails for the kick plates, and not the kick plates themselves.  Once the manufacturer was notified of this, the then mailed out the kick plates.  The customer was informed that when she received the kick plates, and if she wanted for [redacted] to come to her house to install them, to just let us know.  On March 24th, 2016 [redacted] went to the clients home and installed the kick plates.I see in this complaint that the client mentioned the nail head trim; this is actually the first time we are hearing about this.  Also in the complaint, it was pointed out that the delivery driver said to the client that new bases from the manufacturer would be ordered.  I was not there, and am not sure on my end what was really said but all of my delivery crew members are specifically instructed to not guarantee any replacements.  We are at the mercy of the manufacturer and how they want to go about taking care of items when something like this occurs.   Also in this complaint, the customer mentioned not being able to use the stools since the kick plates were not on the bases.  It is common for these stools to be ordered and used without kick plates, she mentioned once that she didn't want to ruin the stools but they would have been fine.  There were multiple occasions when this customer was informed of everything that was going on; once again, [redacted] did their best and unfortunately was at the mercy of the manufacturers time frame.  All in all, these stools were order, delivered and kick plates installed before we would have generally even received these stools.  Thank you,[redacted]
