we sold Amiri Auto a 40' used sea container ex our premises in Regina.
all attempts to collect said funds have been fruitless.
when contacting Amiri for collection they claim person who purchased the container is no longer with the company.
consequently will not accept any responsibility for the charges in question

we phoned them in early January about a motor for my [redacted]. they said have one and they have mechanics that will put it in also. we paid them $4158 dollars to do it. they said they would give us 90 day warranty for parts and labor. they kept on telling us that the truck had been modified and that's why nothing was working and it was taking so long,the only modification that was made was I cut the [redacted] converter out a year prior because it was plugged, they told us the transmission wiring was modified so they couldn't hook the transmission up properly a dealership had to, [redacted] said this wasn't true. the first time they phoned to say it was done we went and picked it up they told us we had to take it to a dealership so they computers could be programmed. when we took it to the dealer ship they started going through it and found roughly 2500 dollars in parts that had to be changed for the motor they put in my truck to be compatible, they put a 2007 flex fuel motor in my truck which is not a flex fuel. they took the truck back with the work order sheet and were going to fix it themselves. the second time they phoned to say it was done we got there and it wasn't done. the third time they said it was done we picked it up and it was shifting rough and the motor was still not running properly. took it to [redacted] again, they looked at it and realized right away the transmission cooler lines werent hooked up, they were cut off. now the transmission is also broke. the motor still does not run like it should, the transmission is shot. we told them we want our money back and an extra thousand dollars and the truck is there's to part out. they wouldn't give us even what we paid them to fix it and they kept the truck.Desired Settlementwe want our money back, the $4158 dollars. we decided we want to keep the truck now instead of giving it to them to part out for the extra $1000 dollarsBusiness Response [redacted]I want to pay him some money but unfortunately he had no time to wait and I didnt had the money available. so I told him few time to wait till I get the money. he couldnt wait.1 original mistake has been made by him for not giving us the right information when they order the engine.2 He customize his vehicle mechanical system and did not told us. so I took the vehicle to many mechanic for why the engine light is on.after I spend my time and towing the vehicle to many places for finding the problem he told us that they modified the truck and it was to late.none of these mechanic work for free. and we cannot afford to pay for someone elses mistake.[redacted]Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)he kept on saying he would have the money for us the following week once he sold a vehicle. it seemed like every time we went there he was never around even though he said he would be unless we showed up unannounced. we waited for 5 months to have this truck fixed, how much longer were we expected to wait. we told them we had a [redacted] 5.4 litre, they said they had a motor for it, we did not order it they did. they put in a 2007 f150 5.4 litre flex fuel motor which is not compatible with the truck. the only customization we did was take the [redacted] converters off, the reason the engine light was on was because of the WRONG MOTOR. [redacted]. the [redacted] converters were off on the other motor and didn't effect the motor running any different so why would it effect this one. why were the transmission lines cut to the cooler which ruined the transmission?they put the wrong motor in my truck and ruined my transmission all I want is my money back.
