Review: On July 21st of this year, I ordered and had my credit card charged $860.00 for a product that was promised to be made by hand and then prepped for the items I paid extra for (part of the 860.00) delivered to the recipient no later than Labor Day (yesterday). I have a copy of my credit card statement to prove that it was charged to my account. As the days drew closer to expecting a delivery, I called their number which has an answering machine, saying that they are not able to take the call. I have left a message with my name and number on at least 3 separate occasions, asking for a call back on the status of my order, and NEVER get an email or a phone call back. I believe this outfit is a SCAM and was so from the very beginning. When my daughter picked out her hope chest, she referred my to "[redacted].com". The order was placed on line and I actually, at the time had a phone communication with a gentleman who reassured me it would take this long to make this "hand made" hope chest and then have it delivered to the designated location at the time the order was placed. I would just like to say, this was a considerable amount of money to not even have them contact me (IF they were ever a legitimate business to begin with. When I called the phone mumber (STILL ON the WEBSITE) it identifies them as "Amish Built" NOT "[redacted].com"! When I call the phone number from Amish Built I get the exact same voice telling the customer that they can't come to the phone and to leave a message! Here are links to the 2 websites where my very hard earned almost 900.00 was deposited into someones account with NO PRODUCT and NO RETURN PHONE CALLS!http://www.amishbuilt.com/ and http://www.[redacted].com/ . These websites are still up and running and try calling each of the phone numbers. The voice is exactly the same on the answering machine message for BOTH of these websites AFTER you spend the exorbitant price for what you believe is an actual product of high quality!!! PLEASE.Desired Settlement: This is what appears to be a bonified SCAM. I would like the matter investigated (By the attorney general of the state if necessary) and the dishonest individuals caught and prosecuted OR my money returned in full. My daughter has waited a VERY long time for this gift and I am prepared to provide you with any credit card information as to the bank the money was deposited to. WHY are the websites still up and running if the company is deemed as "OUT OF BUSINESS" according to the Revdex.com?
