We received the compliant from [redacted] and [redacted] regarding the boat cushions on their Sea Hunt 24 Edge. The boat cushions, supplied by Carolina Cushions, had a manufacturer’s defect and required replacement. We notified Sea Hunt and in the fall of 2014, we received the replacement cushions from...

Carolina Cushions. All the fixed cushions were installed on the boat to [redacted]’s satisfaction. [redacted] choose to keep the loose cushions in the original packaging since they were not going to be used as the boat was stored for the winter. We later found that the loose snaps on the cushions that we received from the Carolina Cushions did not line up with the snaps on the boat. [redacted] scheduled an appointment for [redacted] and [redacted] to bring the boat to us to adjust the snaps to ensure that the cushions fit properly. During this time, [redacted] had a medical emergency which required immediate surgery. Unfortunately, this caused delays and disr uptions in our service schedule during the height of our busy boating season. Upon [redacted]’s return to work, he contacted [redacted] and scheduled an appointment to repair the cushion snaps and a few other warranty items. In the interim, [redacted] had an upholstery shop adjust the snaps on the cushions which was paid for by Sea Hunt Boats. On June *, [redacted] and a service technician made a service call to the [redacted] home to replace an anchor locker supplied by Sea Hunt due to a manufacturer’s defect. We have worked together with both Sea Hunt and the Carolina Cushions to resolve this matter for [redacted] and [redacted]. Despite our repeated efforts we are saddened that we cannot please them. We hope the above information further clarifies the complaint filed by the [redacted]s. Some things were said that we truly regret and for that we are sorry.Please contact me upon receipt if you have any additional questions. The customer received a complete set of  new interior cushions on 12/**/14. The customer inspected the cushions and is completely satisfied with the replacement cushions. A copy of the signed customer satisfaction is attached.?

Review: Purchased a brand new boat for 73000 had nothing but problems from the first day the boat is a lemon broke down every time I used it. [redacted] never returned calls I had to call him 20 times a day before he would pick up my call tells me he is over night a new radio 3 weeks and now tells me he needs 400 security deposit when he told me last week it went out can even use this boat it's a lemon no common courtesy to the consumer just topical run around . I can provide records if need be very dissatisfied the way I was treated after spending 73000 on a new boat with nothing but problems still as of July ** the boat still has issues . I tried to get someone around here to fix but 3 month waiting period told him I do not have to tow it his facility never even offered to help said it was out of his way to pick it up which is 2 hour ride but that was not the story when he was selling me the boat promised me the moon and did nothing and bad mouthed the competition that was near my house.Desired Settlement: Give me money back for this lemon I tried to make a deal with him to get me out of this lemon but hep,aged his games and really offered me 43000 for a boat that I paid 73000 a few months ago called two dealers off the Internet bearpt his price by 35000 just bad business to deal with they should have a f rating

[redacted] was sold a boat at the New York boat show in January 2013 and completed the transaction shortly after. [redacted] took delivery of the boat in spring 2013 and had it transported to his residence in New Jersey. [redacted] was requested to do an orientation in person and baytest the boat with Amity Harbor Marine personal and [redacted] refused. [redacted] contacted us at Amity Harbor Marine regarding an issue with the primer bulb for the fuel system going flat and a defective trim switch. Contact with the Sea Hunt boat company and Amity Harbor Marine resulted in an immediate responce with a replacement primer bulb, trim switch, and two anti siphon valves for the fuel system being overnighted to [redacted] and his repair shop. [redacted] did not take the advise of both the Sea Hunt boat company and Amity Harbor Marine and bring his boat to an authorized Yamaha or Sea Hunt repair facility and instead used a local repair shop. Amity Harbor Marine has repeatedly informed [redacted] that he should bring his boat back to us for any issues he may have and we will address them under his Yamaha or Sea Hunt warranty. Amity Harbor Marine is available to assist in any way possible to service his boat and address any problems he may have.

[Your Answer Here]i bought it authorized dealer nj outboards sea hunt dealer they gave me in writing that his poor workmanship caused my problem I forwarded he bill to him to get reimbursed no call no response he is just giving the normal run around. It has been one problem after another caught him another lie about the radio that he had to give 400 credit card to company I spoke to [redacted] from sea hunt he said that is a lie so you can't believe anything that he tells you originally he told me he overnight end the radio 2 weeks never received it I called and now he said he needs a 400 deposit which is all lies according to the factory rep [redacted] from sea hunt so I'm money on a brand new boat ruined my entire summer with this lemon

Review: In August 2013, we purchased a 2012 Sea Hunt Edge boat for $50,418 boat from this dealer. Soon after, we began to see something pink start to appear on the cushions. It quickly spread throughout the boat. We contacted the dealer in September 2013, and they informed us that the company who manufactured the cushions, [redacted] (in [redacted]) had used a vinyl fabric from [redacted] that they later determined to contain fungus or microbes. This was apparently a known issue that we were told was "industry wide" of boats manufactured from 2010 through 2012. Apparently, the dealer was well aware of the potential problems, yet they still sold us this boat. [redacted] reportedly promised to replace these cushions without cost to us or the dealer. It is now over a year later, and we are still waiting for these cushions. We have been in touch with the dealer on numerous occasions between September 2013 until present date. We are continuously told that the cushions are on their way. I have received one excuse after another. It is now over a year later, and we have spent 2 boating seasons with this problem. Not only are these cushions unsightly, but they are a potential health hazard. My husband is fighting [redacted], and we are afraid to use the boat because I don't know what affect this fungus will have on his health.Desired Settlement: If the dealer cannot replace these cushions as promised over a year ago, I would like the boat replaced!!!!

Review: After repeated service p[redacted]lems with this dealer, my wife and I went into dealer to pick up our boat on May **, 2015, on the date that it was promised to us. Not only was the service not completed, it wasn't even started. We were then cursed out by [redacted] the [redacted], and thrown out of the dealership. His behavior was threatening and highly inappropriate. The dealership has not fixed issues that are covered under warranty.Desired Settlement: We want an apology. We also request the repairs to be completed to our satisfaction at our home, since we are not comfortable with returning to this business given the unacceptable behavior of the [redacted]. The boat can be serviced in our yard, as has been done before.
