Revdex.com spoke to James at business and the following, in addition to the written response and documentation provided, was relayed: The mechanic I use for all of my work is excellent and I am confident in his workI am willing to work with the customer but he needs to contact me and have a conversationI am willing to tell him who the mechanic is and discuss the valve concerns but he has to contact me and discuss itWritten response: I am enclosing a copy of the New York State Limited Warrantee, that I included with all of my salesI have underlined (on the front and back) the areas that apply to Mr [redacted] complaintsHe does not get to choose who makes any repairs, unless he wants to pay for themAlso, the oil pan and gaskets that I have agreed to replace, are not listed in the "Parts Covered" section of the warranteeI have the parts, and will install them or he can pick up the parts and pay for them to be installedThis is my last attempt to resolve this issueSincerely, James McNinch

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meI request that the dealer contact me via TEXT MESSAGE at the number on file with them. Please note that if the dealer chooses to attempt to contact me via phone call, I am having extensive issues with RECEIVING PHONE CALLS at this time, though I am able to make phone calls, but few are able to contact me successfully, including doctor's offices and government offices. I am working with my cell phone provider to remedy this, although I am working on days (as of the date of this reply) of unsuccessful attempts. The issue is larger than just my service alone. The issue also does not seem to be with the physical phone itself in any instance but within the service I have with them. All other functions, such as text and most applications still seem to work as they are running through a wireless internet connection. My text program has been rerouted through this connection and isn't the program that is embedded in the phone. It's unknown why there is an issue and why it can't be resolved, though the process is ongoing. I am hoping that my phone service will be repaired by that time, though I have no conceivable idea when that will bePlease provide a location to leave the vehicleThe repair location is optimal. I theorize that it could be *** *** ***, on the intersection of ***/*** Streets and *** ***in ***, solely based on the proximity to the dealer and as was stated. It would be easy to drop the car off there and return to it. If it's preferrable to leave it at the dealer's private residence, I can leave the car there and place the key in a safe location within the car until it's time to have it taken to and backI appreciate your assistance with this issue
Regards,
*** ***

I am sending this letter, in response to a complaint by *** ***, *** *** **, ***, NY ***I sold Mr*** a *** *** with 94,miles, and I provided him with the standard New York State warranteeHe contacted me, weeks after the purchase, with a few complaints and my
mechanic determined that the oil pan and gasket probably should be replaced and that the rest of the issues were invalidI called Mr***, several times, to set up an appointment for the work, but he has been unable to fit it inThe last appointment was set for FriFeb16th and he failed to drop the car off or call to cancelAll appointments were made by phone, talking to him directly (no messages) and yet he is claiming that I have not returned his callsThis is totally inaccurateI have never been reported, by any of my customers to any agency, and I always go out of my way to try and satisfy my customersMr*** has a lot of issues and is not a happy manSincerely, James McNinch

Written response: I am enclosing a copy of the New York State Limited Warrantee, that I included with all of my sales. I have underlined (on the front and back) the areas that apply to Mr. [redacted] complaints. He does not get to choose who makes any repairs, unless he wants to pay for them.
