Review: My 1978 PONTAIC GRAND PRIX had a gas leak.I would leak from somewhere above the gas tank and roll down.(on the drivers side)It wasn't a steady leak. Every now and then when I would run the car and I would notice it. On January [redacted]2015 I brought the car to 76 STREET AUTO REPAIR located on [redacted].I showed the [redacted] where the gas would usually leak from. He had me leave the car so he could check the problem and price it for me. Told me it was the tank leaking and it was best to change all parts above including the sender unit. He said if we change all there will be no problem. Leak would be completely fixed for $1200. I don't use the car, so only had time to start it a couple times. On april **,2015 I notice the same leak from the top of the tank driping down. April ** brought car in again and left it to be fixed. Mechanic told me other parts need to be fixed for additional cost.He refuse to fix it under his warrenty and I was curse at by this [redacted] worker. So I left with a gas leak and out $1200.Desired Settlement: I would like the leak fixed. He told me I had a year warrenty and its within 3 months of the bad repairs. If not my money back.
