Ms. [redacted],
Hello, I'm writing in response to Ms. [redacted]'s complaint (id [redacted]). They had a service contract for the heating season of 2013-2014. They had been a customer for some time so they were well aware of our contract procedures etc. Our service contracts run from May 1st...

through April 30th of each year and include one annual cleaning (as documented on the contract which I could provide if needed). The customer had their unit cleaned on June 10th 2013 in preparation for the upcoming season (using their allotted cleaning for 2013/14). They had made another appointment for a cleaning on April 21st 2014 (their second cleaning of the year). If they remained a customer I would have applied the cleaning to next years' contract as a courtesy. They cancelled service a week after the cleaning was completed. In my opinion they simply tried to get a free cleaning out of us before they stopped service.
They had proceeded to write us vulgar messages on their service bills before sending them back to us so I nicely informed them that I'd be forwarding the account to collections. Their reason for quitting was extremely vague, and they've begun to blame it on this mishap which occurred after our services were cancelled. They were actually complimentary of our services and said "I'd rather not tell you why we're leaving, but you guys have been great."
Contrary to their assertion, we never tried to bill them for "something." Their contract automatically renewed in our computer system and we credited it to their account once our services were cancelled. That is not how we do business, and I don't even want to be associated with such practices. We have been providing our customers with excellent service for over 50 years, and will continue to do so for as long as the good Lord allows.
Thanks for your time - if you have any questions or concerns please call my office.
Best Regards,

We are not looking for a free cleaning or anything else for free .  The cleaning June 10 2013 was for the previous Year .  the new company We are with now would have cleaned the furnace as part of their contract, which they asked to do. So I'm not looking for something for nothing , I felt it was part of Amodio's obligation to do so.As far as a vulgar messages ,I said We are not paying and don't send anymore bills, if We thought the service was good We wouldn't have changed. Like they said We were with them for some time, We were not happy with their service . When I said they were great, I meant past tense . We were very surprised to have received a bill for the cleaning .
   Thank You

Review: We had a service contract for 2013 witch included cleaning and service for the year .04/11/13 to 04/11/14 . We had them clean the furnace on June 10 2014 witch was to be part of the 2013/14 maint. contract. they say it isn't , prior to this it was. The reason for this We canceled their service. In the past the spring cleaning was part the of the previous year. Now they say different, they even tried to bill us for something , until We called them on it, then they took off the bill. Now they want to put Us in collection . When We told them we were canceling they wanted to give Us a Maint. Contract for FREE to stay, because We were good Customers. We always pay Our bill, We think this POOR business on their part. Thank YouDesired Settlement: Stop with this collection business.
