Review: A good friend recommended Amour De Hair to me.I called ahead to make an appointment and ask about pricing.I was given a price for a haircut ($65) and a price for a blow-dry ($20) which I agreed to.During my haircut, I have five small pink extensions in place, which were old. The salon began to take them out and asked me if I'd like new ones. I asked how much it would cost for new ones, and was told $10 per extension. I said I would think about it. Ten minutes later Ana came back with curly, rust brown extensions, and I said I didn't think they matched my straight blonde hair, or the color of the prior pink ones, so I declined and thanked her so much for trying.Upon paying, Ana whispered to the concierge and to my cutter very sarcastically. I was charged an additional $50 for NOTHING. They said it was for the removal of the extensions, but no one told me that beforehand, and that's never been the case in past removals or haircuts. I would have just left them.Point is, the whole experience ended up being AWEFUL. I got RIPPED OFF. I SPOKE WITH THE [redacted]. Asked for the owners info, which she would NOT provide, and left feeling completely taken advantage of. Sure, I could have walked out without paying and maybe I should have, but in the moment I was presented with a bill, protested, asked for a consultation with the owner, and left. Still bothering me, and I have never complained about a service publicly before. This just seemed WRONG. Now that I have read the online reviews, I see many people have had the same experience there.Desired Settlement: I would love a refund of the $50, for services I did not receive.
