Review: I was in a car accident on 10/**/14. According to my insurance company and police report I am not at fault. My car needs to be repaired. The women at fault was driving a rental from Amore rent a car. According to the women, (who is under the age of 25- and was given a summons for driving without insurance) she was not the person who rented the car but was driving it. We requested insurance information from Amore however, they claim they "lost the file" and do not have any information (no insurance, no copy of credit card, or drivers license. We need this information in order to proceed with our claim and have the damages fixed on our car. Amore refuses to provide us with any information. It is very dangerous if this company gives cars for rent without obtaining any information. They are putting people as risk by allowing customers to drive with no insurance.Desired Settlement: Pay for car damages and collision shop fees or simply provide us with car insurance information needed for us to move forward with our claim.

Review: After making a reservation for a [redacted] Truck on 01/**/2015 to be picked up the next morning by 9am on 01/**/2015 the business did not honor the reservation claiming that they did not have a truck. A truck equal to the one I reserved was parked outside with an advertisement on it that reads: "One Way and local rental" but they refused to provide me with that truck claiming that it was only a "One Way" truck and they could not rent it locally. I explained to them that a reservation was made and I needed the truck and if I did not get it in the size I was looking for I would miss the Appointment to pick up food (we pick up food for the poor). The young lady refused to rent the truck and offered me a van instead. Not having any other choice due to time restriction, I proceeded to rent the van which cost me to loose out of two pallets of food for the mission. When I returned the van refueled to the same fuel gauge point that I rent it with, they claimed that the gas was low and applied an extra $4 charge (I gave them a photo proof that the van was returned with the right amount of fuel but they continued to make the charge) I asked to speak to the [redacted] and the lady attending me said I am the [redacted] When I asked for her first and last name she gave me her first name "[redacted]" and refused to provide her last name. When told that the [redacted] or [redacted] must provide their full name, she then said she was not in charge. When I said: "This is bad business, first you did not honored my reservation, now you made a charge to my card that you don't suppose to, and then refuse to give me your name. She replied by saying "it is not my business we are only a dealer for U-Haul, so I don't care". A young man tried to intervene and be helpful but she stopped him by saying don't pay him any mind and then asked him to escort me out of the premises. Totally unacceptable customer service, no apologies for what they did and caused, made an illegal charge to my card and did not offered any compensation for their actions in the reservation that cost me to loose out on picking up the correct amount of food for the community. Impersonated a [redacted], refused to provide me with the information of the business owner and with a defiant attitude asked an employee to escort me out of the premises because she did not which to continue the dialogue.Desired Settlement: The business owes me a written apology for their actions, they should state in the letter that the employee in question "[redacted]" would be properly reprimanded and sent for training, and at minimum they should return 50% (100% would be more appropriate) of the bill of the rental for not honoring the reservation when they in fact had a truck available, and caused me to loose out on the pallets of food that were meant to feed poor families in the community.
