Beware Lost Amscot Money Order Process! My landlord lost my Amscot rent checkI had to pay Amscot's $fee, upfront, to fill out and stop this lost money orderIt was mailed May 21, The form says "Most requests are processed within 30-days; however, please allow up to days for total processing." ?! They really mean thisWhy is Amscot allowed such a lengthy waiting period, causing more hardship, when today's technology allows them to pull money instantly? This is not right to meI called on June 18, The lady said they received my Money Order Claim Form to stop it on May 27, GoodIt's still being processedShould be out June 24, This did NOT happen
I called again, July 1, 2015, was put through about transfersThe lady said it was processed June 24, Really? I told her, again, what I was told beforeShe repeated, it was processed on June 24, So where is it? She said it will be mailed next weekThey do make you wait! Why so long??
