Attached was our response to the Delaware Department Of Justice concerning this issue in June 2012 and their final report. Please see the attached concerning dates of prior serv ice calls, the fact that even though the contract states equipment must be yearly maintained for validwarranty which wasn't done and the findings we feel that someone is maybe tampering with the system we feel we cannot satisfy this customer. Heating and Air Condition systems like automobiles must be maintained for valid warranty . Please call our office if you have any questions

Review: A new Heating/Air Conditioning unit was up in my house in 2008 by this company by the county because I was scammed into getting my home so I had neither one when I moved in and didn't have the money to purchase it. This unit has given me problems since year two it was put in. Really year one but I thought it wasn't cooling my house much because it's a smaller unit then what my house needs. The company did come out to put Freon in the unit about two years after it was put in. Ever since that year I've had to pay someone to put Freon in it for us to be comfortable. There's a leak in the unit and they refuse to fix it. I have even called the attorney general's office on them but to no avail. They have give me an excuse after excuse, year after year, as to why they won't fix it and I don't think it's fair. Even the ridiculous excuse that somebody was stealing the Freon over the winter. There are several central air units on the block so why would someone constantly just steal mines. When I get it put in in the summer it usually lasts until at least the end of august. This year I had Freon put in it, not even a month ago and it has now all leaked out. I was told I can put something in it to possibly find the leak but it's not a guarantee and it's $189. I am a single mother that works for the state of De and we have not had a raise in years. I cannot afford to pay someone every year to do this when it was put in wrong from the beginning. My son has asthma and allergies and his room was 85 degrees last night. Please, please, please help me if you can. I'm at my wits end here. I didn't even sleep last night worrying about my son and how I can get this resolved because the temperature is even hotter today. I do have witnesses to what I'm saying and I have all my paperwork. I look forward to hearing from someone soon.Desired Settlement: I am not asking for a new unit at all. I would just like for them to repair whatever they messed up so I'm not stuck paying out money every year to live comfortably in my home.
