Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I never said I liked the hair when I picked my daughter up from that shop at all...as a matter of fact I was looking at it funny the whole entire time before I left the shop...the bigger ugly braids were underneath so I could not see them until after I left the edges were done small the inside of her hair was not done to my liking...I asked for her whole entire head to be redone which was rejected..they said they would do over some not all...why even call or come back when you keep saying no to eveything I suggested money back no half money nack no redo her whole head no so there was no agreement on me not liking my daughters hair period..If you couldnt do the style why put my daughter through sitting there for something she or I still was not going to like at allHer hair was completed in about hours so I should have known better Sincerely, [redacted]

I did the hair as to the picture she brought, When she was finished I asked her if she liked it, and she responded yesA few hours later she returned saying she didn't like it and wanted a refundI spent 3-hours on her hair, I explained that I could not provide a refund , however I did offer her
to return with smaller braids and I would redo themShe said she would go get smaller braids and come back, however she never returned or called

Review: On 7/*/15 at approximately 8:45am, I went to get my hair put into twists. After waiting for an hour to be called, I was summoned to the salon chair. I showed the hair braider the style that I preferred, I explained the colors and size of braids that I wanted. She stated they did not have the colors I wanted, I stated that was fine. She proceeded to put my hair into twists, I explained to her that she was braiding my hair too tight and that they were painful. She stated that she had to make them tight because my hair was soft, regardless I continued to ask her to twists them more loose, but she proceeded. I noticed that she was twisting them a different size than I wanted, I had not noticed since I was not infront of a mirror. I informed her that they were too big, showing her a picture of what I wanted. She then proceeded to ask another customer if the twists were big, and the customer confirmed that yes they were. She took out the some of the twists and retwists them with less hair, they were still considerably larger than I wanted.

As a result, when the twists were completed, the sections were painfully tight, the twists entirely too large, and the weight of extra hair (from the large twists), within two days, my scalp has developed red bumps from the irritation and hair is showing breakage and the twists were unraveling. Being a holiday weekend, I did not return until 7/*/15, and went into the salon to inform them that the quality of the work, and the pain that had been caused. I asked for a refund minus the hair used, and they refused. I asked them to re-twists the hair at least, and they refused, stating that the ends were supposed to be jagged and the twists were supposed to be tight. I have had this procedure done at another location, and the quality was much different.Desired Settlement: I would like the funds that I paid to be refunded, I have pictures to show the quality, and being that my scalp has become very irritated, I can no longer keep my twists in (after three days!) I paid $120. they used three packs of hair on my head at $5 a pack, I would like $105 returned to me, for a job that should have lasted three weeks at least.
