[redacted] your session is ready for pick up I called you and text you to notify you I am not going to rehash this over and over its an unfortunate situation and I'm sorry it happened

When I photographed [redacted] maternity pictures I had mentioned to about my mother's health. My mother had congestive heart failure with COPD. If you know anything about a person with congestive heart failure their health is up and down. I was the sole caretaker for my mother... and did my best to juggle business and family life. My mom's health went down rapidly and she went on Hospice August 10, 2017. Which she was requiring 24/7 care. When I was my mother's health made a change I did contact Mrs [redacted] to let her know I would not be able to photograph her newborn session and I felt it was best to find another photographer. YES, I felt bad my passions is photography and I was trying to figure if I would still be able to photograph the [redacted] 's newborn. But when it looked like I wasn't able to photograph I did notify [redacted] . My mom's would decline so fast that we thought she would be leaving us then rally and be up wanting to eat a hamburger for lunch. Which it was hard for me to schedule, we lived day to day. Her last month was like riding the wildest roller coaster ride. So naturally I couldn't fulfill the appointment with [redacted] and their baby. My mom passed September 5, 2017- and I'm at a loss! [redacted] referred me to being rude and not wanting to work with her and her ideas which I tried to work into the session. Due to the nature of photography you can't always work in every pose or prop idea that a client has due to time restraint. Mrs [redacted] paid a partial payment towards newborn session with a mini maternity session. I did block Mrs [redacted] from contact after she was mentioning my activity on Facebook. Which Facebook is not a true reflection of my life and I felt she was borderline stalking me. I have already spoken to [redacted] by text message I thought we had already came to an agreement about her maternity session. As per as our conversation I would finish editing her session and deliver them within a month from our last text message on September 28, 2017. I'm sorry she felt she had to take this avenue. I'm trying to work with her but also take care of personal business with my mom's estate.

The owner of this business, ***, has not followed through on her wordI took photos with her July and still have not received any of my printsI have nicely confronted her about it and she has blocked me of all communicationDuring the shoot itself, she was rude, she did not take any pictures that I wanted her to take because she didn’t like the idea, and she used foul languageShe also told me to “find a new photographer” when I tried to schedule another session with her since it was part of the deal (buy a newborn session, get a maternity session for free), once she found out I found someone else, she told me to cancel with that photographer, so I did and *** cancelled on me againShe has lacked to reach out to me on why I haven’t received anything, and she has yet to apologize for her unprofessionalismI have asked for all my pictures and my deposit money back ($275)

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:I did know about her mother’s health, and I agreed to “call it by ear” but when she told me to find someone else and then once I did she tells me to cancel and then Amy never made an attempt to schedule really makes me madI understand her mother was very ill, but I am a paying customer who was left in the dark and cheated out. Amy did not try to work anything out with me while we were trying to schedule the newborn shootShe posted on her Photography page that she would be “out” she never called or textedShe left me to figure it out on my own which is not how you deal with a customer. She did not even try to do any of my ideas, most of which didn’t need “props” so that was not true in her response. Amy also never agreed to getting the pictures done within a month, she blocked my phone number in the middle of a conversation, so I feel as she needs to get them done soonerI would like them in weeks because I have waited months and that’s way too long.
Regards,
