I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find the resolution is satisfactory to meGranting that money is received in timely manner

Consumer called to advise Revdex.com that the matter is resolved. The law office contacted her and said they will write off the amount owed and cease collections.

Once, again I am sorry that Ms. [redacted] is upset with my office as we strive to do the best we can for all clients.  As I have stated in a previous response, I will give the refund once the Court has dismissed the case and my firm is no longer the attorney of record.  Unfortunately, this case takes place in an out of county court and not all counties are as quick to turn around the necessary documents.  My office has performed a considerable amount of legal work on a complex matter for this client during the course of representation.  Although we have earned more of the retainer through the course of representation, as a gesture of good will  I will be refunding the client $4000 once the case is officially dismissed from the court.   Sincerely,Amy Levine

This said business has verbally told me one thing only to write a letter saying the opposite. I still have not received a call from the business owner, instead of a call this letter was sent.

I am truly saddened that this client decided to file a complaint regarding her case with my office as my office and I have done everything we can to try to make this client satisfied as we do with all clients.  I believe this client has misunderstood the intent of my office and the process that...

has been taken on her behalf.  We have worked very hard on her behalf on a complex matter and have billed accordingly and have given significant discounts along the way.   I had one telephone conversation with the client regarding her case matter and where her approximate balance stood as of that day.  She was then to let us know whether she wanted to continue moving forward or dismiss her case entirely and I told her either way there could be additional charges to her account.  The next day she informed the office that she wanted to dismiss her case.  I have attached a letter I sent to the client regarding the process of dismissing a case and closing out a file.  I directly informed her during this letter that once the court dismissed her case, sent us notice of such and we were no longer the attorney of record I would then finalize the closing of her case and submit a refund of any unearned fees.  As of this morning, when we called the court to inquire as to the status of said dismissal, they informed my office that it has not been fully processed yet.  We have a call into the magistrate's office to check on status currently.  Once again, once we have received final notification that the Court has dismissed the action and we are no longer the attorney of record, I will quickly turn around the final closing steps to her case and any refund that is due.  If there are no upcoming problems with the dismissal, which I do not anticipate any, I am happy to refund the client the $4000 that she is requesting.  As I have informed the client, if there are any questions or concerns I am always open to a telephone conversation.   Sincerely, Amy Levine
