I used to be a good friend of the photographer. I've seen several reviews of her not providing photos to paying customers. She offered to do my newborns photos for free which was so kind but I never got the photos, which i'll never be able to get again as too much time as passed and he isn't a newborn anymore. She has a "go fund me" account up for free hand outs currently and I tried to offer money to help out in exchange for my sons photos and no response. Its a shame she used to be such a good friend but her horrible business as broken a 10+ year friend.

Review: This is a tough complaint to write, but the issue has become too much of a problem. We paid for a package that included maternity, newborn, six month, and year photos. It was very easy to get in touch with her in the beginning and pay the entire package deal up front. After that, it's been more difficult. We have tried contacting her countless times with no response. Her email inbox is full. Her voicemail box is full. She doesn't respond to texts or calls. And logging into [redacted] and seeing her business page, we are not alone. There were pictures missing from several of the sessions that we really looked forward to. My daughter's six month pictures, while ok, we're not the quality we expected, at all. Not to mention it took over 3 months to finally get scheduled. Receiving the gallery also took much longer than stated. We discussed this issue with Amy after the six month shoot and were assured it wouldn't happen again and received an apology. We are having the same problem for the year photoshoot. I contacted her almost 2 months out to ensure it wouldn't happen again, but it has. We are very disappointed and feel we were taken advantage of by paying so much up front. We've missed out on important milestones we wanted to have captured, such as her year pictures and holiday pictures. If we knew then what we know now, we would have given our business to another photographer. It breaks my heart that so much hassle has come from capturing this special time in our lives and truly thought it would be different, especially with all the moments, including our wedding, that she has captured.Desired Settlement: We would like to be refunded our money since we have not received the quality of photos and service we expected when we paid for them.

Review: I purchased this gift certificate in the amount of $100 as a gift to my son and his family, almost two years ago (purchased before December 2012). He attempted for several months to make a photography appointment with [redacted], but was never able to solidify a date. She became unresponsive to his emails and phone calls. He told me of the problem and I asked him to send the certificate to me. When I received it, I tried to call [redacted] at the listed phone number ([redacted]), SEVERAL times, and had to leave voice mails because I wasn't able to get a person on the phone. I left all of my information and explained why I wanted the refund. She never responded, not even when I emailed her. I do want to let it be known that when I was trying to purchase the gift certificate online, she was more than helpful because I was having trouble completing the purchase. She called and emailed me instructions, and then after the sale, she mailed me the gift certificate. However, since then, I can't reach this person.Desired Settlement: I would like the refund in the amount of $100, which is what I paid originally. She can pay my [redacted] account or she can issue me a certified check.
