Best case, Property Tax Protest tries to be an honest company that severely lacks organizational and customer service skills More likely, they are a dishonest company just out to make quick cash After hiring Property Tax Protest, they filed a protest for my property, and then withdrew the protest without ever contacting me to discussI didn't find out about this until the deadline had come and gone From that point they did not do anything that they said they would do to complete the protest I contracted with them to complete Recently, they have ignored my emails (or not responded until I have sent multiple requests) as I try to gather information to figure out what happened As it stands, the deadline came and went, and now I am stuck paying taxes on a higher value than I should be

5/25/- Contacted Property Tax Protest and spoke on phone Discussed plan, printed forms and emailed to P.T.P Received confirmation email from P.T.P
6/3/- Received email from P.T.Pexplaining that another firm had already filed a protest on my behalf Apologized and explained the mistake
6/4/- Contacted Collin County Appraisal District at P.T.P.'s request and confirmed that P.T.Pis my agent Ccd P.T.Pon this email Received email from P.T.Pthanking me for cc'ing them on my email with Collin County, and also requesting that I file a complaint with the Revdex.com against this other Firm
6/5/- Received a 2nd email updating their request that I file a complaint with Revdex.com against this other firm to file a review instead that can not be closed out
7/15/- Requested an update from PTP regarding my protest Did not get a response
8/7/- Requested an update for the 2nd time from PTP regarding my protest
8/8/- PTP responded to my request explaining that my value was sustained, and that I was represented by the firm I sent various other emails to PTP with backup documents and emails showing that there should not have been any confusion on who represented me Called Jonathon directly He said he didn't know what happened and was in a hurry to get me off the phone
8/9/- Sent another email to PTP advising that I had spoken with Collin County and they had given me my options I requested a call back to discuss
8/22/- Sent another email to PTP asking if they got my previous email I explained that Collin County said the PTP withdrew their protest I asked why and requested an explanation as to why my protest didn't go forward as planned on July 6th
8/24/- Received a response explaining that my value was sustained when the other firm represented me and asking me if I authorized them Sent a response explaining that I did not authorize them and that PTP should have been aware that this other firm did not represent me I quoted the Texas Tax Code and requested the supporting evidence as to why my property was sustained I never got a response
9/6/- Sent another follow up email requesting some sort of response
9/14/- To date, I have received no response
