I am rejecting this response because: They
lied in their response to the Revdex.com. When contacted directly they stated that they now won't be open for business until March 15. And for some reason can not even provide a definitive answer until that time as to whether they even still have all of the items. They fail to explain why somehow they can have the *** part of their business open but can not even answer questions about the consignment part of the business. Had we been informed about this lengthy shutdown we would have moved the items to another consignment store long ago. But we were never provided with that information or opportunity. Very unprofessional business practices!

in business. Business will hopefully reopen its business on April 1st and will once again have access to consumer information.

Review: We have had a huge problem with communication and receiving money owed to us. We consigned with An Eclectic Home on July 25, 2013. We agreed to consign $1750.00 worth of items. We have had to call, text, write letters, and make long distance visits to repeatedly ask for the money owed to us. As of this date they will not talk to us or return our calls. I have been consigning for over 10 years and this is the worst experience I have ever had with consigning. I have tried to talk with [redacted] for over 4 months and she will not return my calls, messages or texts. We did finally receive some of the money owed after going to Auburn in person unexpectedly but they still owe us for the most expensive item we consigned plus two smaller items. I was told by a worker there that the last 3 items were sold in March however I do not have the exact dates as [redacted] & [redacted] refuse to communicate by phone or letter. The last communication I had with [redacted] was on 6/18/14 at 3:14 pm. I talked to [redacted] and he told me that [redacted] was the one who had to answer my questions. He said [redacted] was printing up your check last weekend but she ran out of ink. She will probably print it out this weekend. He was to leave [redacted] a message for her to call me. I have never heard from either one of them again. They are never said to be in when I call. The remaining items to be sold had the listed sales price of $1200.00 and $60.00 for each of the lawn equipment. I have a list of all phone calls and texts made and received and copies of all our correspondence.Desired Settlement: I wish to be paid per our agreement for the last 3 items that were sold. A large marble topped table and 2 craftsman lawn tools.

Review: Furniture held on consignment contract since March 27, 2014. No contact, verbal or written, between An Eclectic Home and the consignor for 7 months. Consignor went to place of business to determine status of consignment items and discovered items we not on display. Inquired about status of items in communications with "[redacted]", October 8, 2014 and was informed that all but one item was sold. Consignor requested payment and was told "we need to catch up on our paperwork and cannot make payments at this time, call back early next week." Consignor continues to call and cannot reach "[redacted]". Have left messages for her to return calls with "[redacted]", and have currently not received any correspondence. I had a bad feeling about the honesty and professionalism of this business when another consignor was present while I was at this place of business, and was having problems receiving payment as well.Desired Settlement: Immediately return items not sold, and pay consignor for items sold. Show all receipts and auction transactions used in the calculations of consignor payment. Small Claims Court procedures will be initiated.

Review: I placed a large amount of furniture on Consignment in Feb 2014.I was told by the owners [redacted] and [redacted] that several items had sold back in April and checks would be forthcoming. I have made numerous phone calls, sent emails aned demand letters for payment and their records without a response.Desired Settlement: Funds for the furniture sold, a complete record of my furniture inventory and any remaining furniture sent back to me at their expense.

Review: This business was formerly located at [redacted], but has moved to 313 Nevada Street, Auburn, Ca 95603. I have contracted with this firm to sell some furniture, for which I do have receipts. I was told that my first item sold in October of 2014 and I was promised payment within 6 weeks of sale. Again I was told that my next items were sold in November, again payment promised within 6 weeks. Upon calling them at the end of December, I was told that since they moved just before Christmas; that their computers would up and running by January 3, 2015 and checks would be issued then. I called about a week later and they stated that checks would be issued within a few days. I visited the new store last week, and spoke with a lady who claimed to be a new employee and this was her first day at work. I do not believe this to be true as I had seen this same lady many times at the former location. I believe that this lady is the sister of the owner/manager. I then spoke with the owner/manager man who claimed that he would call me by the end of last week. He did not call me despite his promise. I went to the store again yesterday, and no one answered the door; however, there was a note on the door stating that they would reopen mid-April 2015.I believe that I am being cheated. I do have a contract signed by the owner/manager. What can you do to assist me in collecting the funds due to me?Desired Settlement: I simply want the funds due me resulting from the sale of the furniture which I consigned to this aforementioned consignment business. I want this business to abide by proper business practices in the future, so that any future customers will be treated better than I have been treated in this matter.

Review: This is a consignment store and [redacted] business. I have been calling this business leaving messages in regard to items we left for consignment sale back about six months ago. All I asked for was a status of the items we left. No one ever called me back. That is terrible service in itself. And then we were told that the store was closed for several months to move to another location. This was done without even bothering to notify us of closure so that we could move the items to another consignment business if we so chose. Then they tell us that they can't even access their own records to provide us with a status...until their consignment store re-opens in about three weeks. They told us that their computers were down and that is the reason that the records were not available. But the computers were fully functional for the [redacted] part of the business because that was open for business. So to tell us that the "computers are down" as their excuse for ignoring us is just not acceptable. The items we left are:1. two oak swivel bar stools2. six fabric seat dining chairs (2 with arms)3. an oak china hutch. And our neighbor also brought over a Grandfather clock for us to this business in August. He stopped by in November to check on it and it was in the process of being sold and packaged for pick-up. He was told he would get the check in December. He never received anything from this business and was told he would have to wait for the re-opening to even find out about it. What a terrible way to run a business!Desired Settlement: An acceptable response to our request for a status on the items and immediate payment for those items already sold.
