[redacted] does all the photos, website listing and sales herself. She works with a less than adequate staff.
She is not very mobile which left her staff to physically price and arrange the items. We found boxes of our things shoved under the table, not priced, therefore not sold.
On sale day, she is not visible or walking around. She plays cashier so explanation of items were left to the inexperienced helpers she hires. They were sitting most of the time around the house.
Items are priced way too high, therefore on the first day, the house looked untouched at the end of the day. Not much sold. The second day prices were dropped, but not nearly enough.
Then by appointment only days were a nightmare. Dealers in and out trying to get things for nothing. [redacted] was not present during appointment only days. She makes a million excuses and really not professional at all. She is curt and sometimes rude to people.
One of the worst parts is that our sale was in July. We got paid in October. Again [redacted] Hantman made excuses. The accountant, she claimed, had a death in family. We waited three months and hired an attorney. The attorney advised us what to do. Finally, we got paid. You will see similar complaints about her on this site.
Check out each person before you hire. Read reviews. There are bigger, better sellers in the Gables, Grove, Pinecrest, South Miami area. They are professional and timely. Check them out first.
I want to share my experience with An Estate of Mine by Susan. Mrs. Susan [redacted] was in charge selling my furnitures in a garage sale in May of 2016 and as of today, Dec 19, 2016, I have not yet to received any payments. Mrs. [redacted] is very disorganized and extremely dishonest. I have a case with an attorney and have made a police report. I have tried to communicate with her by all means, I just want the money from my furnitures sale and I would to help any clients avoid being deceived and entrusting their belongings with her.
