Good Afternoon,Complaint ID # [redacted] by [redacted] descibed here as "Guest" and Anaheim Carriage Inn described here as "Hotel".Guest made a reservation on Feb 16, with Hotel via online booking site "Booking.com"Please find the attachment below for the Reservation that was sent to Hotel including the Booking policy.Hotel charged in advance for the reservation as per reservation policyI strongly believe that there was a communication error &/or gap between Guest and Hotel that may led Guest to a misunderstandingFrom my understanding, Guest initially requested to pay during chein stead of advance chargeSince the policy was different, Hotel advised Guest to contact the booking site (Booking.com)Guest thought reservation was cancelled but in reality it was reserved as it supposed to beThe charge was made on Guest's credit card as per reservation policy, not as cancellation penaltyReservation is valid through out the whole time and no changes were made.On a later date, Guest requested to modify the reservation to a different dateFront Desk person did not find the availability for the same room typeHowever, Guest spoke to a Supervisor and was offered same type of room with a accessible restroom which guest agreed withSo the reservation was updated with the Guest's desired travel dates without any modification cost.In conclusion, I would like to specify the incident as a misunderstanding between Guest and Hotel due to communication errorHotel Supervisor (Farhan R.) spoke to Guest over the phone on May 10, and the initial issue was resolved successfullyGuest was very helpful, understanding and cooperative during the process of modificationAnaheim Carriage Inn would appreciate if Revdex.com validate it's statement described above and make an adjustment of the complaint accordingly

I strongly believe that there was a communication error &/or gap between Guest and Hotel that may led Guest to a misunderstanding. From my understanding, Guest initially requested to pay during check-in in stead of advance charge. Since the policy was different, Hotel advised Guest to contact the booking site (Booking.com).
