Anaya Trenching Services

Review: [redacted] Anaya was contracted to trench 5100' per an irrigation plan provided to him. He trenched in the wrong areas & direction as he decided he had a better irrigation plan. The plan I provided was created by a [redacted] who has specialized in irrigation plans (drawings) since the 1960's and came highly recommended from [redacted], S[redacted] and others.

[redacted] requested $300.00 after the first half day's work as he was driving about 180 miles each day. He then requested an additional $1600.00 after having half the pasture with open trenches. He said he was leaving his [redacted] as his guarantee he would return.

He had already cut through existing irrigation pipes (which could easily be rectified) but, then also cut through house water pipes and electrical and left the job with everything in disrepair. The house water and electrical could have been avoided had he trenched to the proper trench depth as was discussed. I was left with no water, no electricity and one stall to keep both my horses.

Called him numerous times and he said he was coming out on three separate occasions and never showed up or called. Have given him every opportunity to rectify this situation and he will not take my calls.

This all began on 3/4/16 and it is now 4/5/16 and I have had to pay electrical and some water pipe repairs amounting to over $400. I'm now out of pocket $2300.00 and have no water for my yards/pasture or a place for my horses.

He and his girlfriend [redacted] both assured me they would not leave me in a mess upon the original job discussion of expectations. This guy does not like to listen and will do the job the way he thinks it should be done, so want to ensure anyone out there considering hiring him know what to expect.Desired Settlement: [redacted] got some of the trenching done in the correct areas which he was charging $600 for every 1000' trenched. The trenches he actually got correct was approximately 1600' which would amount to $960.
