As understandable as it was, we then arranged a second shipment with another shipping agency, who does door to door, as the breeder claimed that it was our fault of having booked an unexperienced and incompetent shipperHe then went missing in action, we could not call him, he did not reply any of our numerous messages, emails, what have youAfter a few days, after the scheduled date of the second shipping arrangement, he finally responded us via email and said that there is nothing we can do as our dog is notthere anymoreAnd that if we wanted to buy another pup, he was willing toWe just had to pay eveything all over again.? When we accepted the initial deposit for the pup it was submitted to us from PayPal as detailed in ***'s chronological outline? At the time it was submitted to us a Hamburg Germany address was provided? When it came time to finalize shipping for the pup an address in Jakarta Indonesia was submitted for shipping? Within one day we informed [redacted] that she would require the service of a shipping agency? We provided all health certificates, vaccinations, bloodwork necessary to ship the pup into Indonesia at weeks of age? We then were delayed by [redacted] and ***'s shipping agent by approximately weeks? This delay caused a shipping requirement of an IATA reinforced kennel, once the pup reaches 20lbs or months of age this is a requirementThere chosen shipper kept informing them that this was not accurate? Finally [redacted] followed up with the Airlines and confirmed that indeed a reinforced IATA kennel would be needed? There shipper could not provide this kennel, these kennels are not readily available and are usually manufactured upon request? The soonest I could find one was approximately a week waiting period? In our original agreement we have a nonrefundable $deposit fro all overseas shipping + $per day kenneling fee between and weeks of age, $per day kenneling fee post weeks, bloodwork, titer test, miscVet fees all which were provided on time as agreed? Due to [redacted] and ***'s shipping delay all funds provided were exhausted? At that time I suggested for the well being of the live animal in question we should try with another litter? This was an animal that was over months of age and pounds that required socialization and training? We felt it was in the best interest of the pup to be placed with a foster home that could provide the necessary needs of an adolescent male canine? If [redacted] and [redacted] would like to move forward with another litter I would be willing to waive the deposit, but kenneling, vaccine, cost of pup, paperwork etcwill be required.?

I am rejecting this response because:We have never said that we wanted the pup to be shipped to Hamburg, Germany. We have called the breeder before even making a deposit and asked him whether he is willing to ship to Indonesia or not. And he agreed. Hamburg Germany was the adress of the paypal account which had nothing to do with our destination deal. The breeder agreed to handle the shipping but then told us to find our own shipper as he could not find one himself. We understand the terms and conditions that the breeder stated regarding the kenneling fee, vaccinations, etc, and we have followed through. We have not let any invoice left unhandled. We paid for everything he asked us to. And we were even still willing to pay for a metal crate kennel when it suddenly came in need. We even agreed to pay extra kenneling fees as well. In short, as buyers, as customers, we stuck to our obligations and were willing to pay whatever costs came in play, even after the messy shipping arrangement, as our priority was to get our pup home. We have never once stated to the breeder that we do not want to pay for anything he asked us to. The breeder, however, as a seller, was irresponsible and did not follow through his obligations. The breeder one sidedly decided to just give away our dog to another buyer/whoever, we do not know exactly, while we were still in the process of trying to ship the pup. He basically just gave up, maybe felt that it was too troubling and just said that our pup is long gone. and that he did that "for the sake of the puppy". which we think is nonsense. We have proof that the breeder has failed to meet his ends; he did not follow through his initial agreement with the first shipper, [redacted] international, which caused sudden changes of flights, etc, which also had a play in his failure to provide a crate. We also have proof that he had troubles shipping the pup to [redacted] and troubles to provide the crate (he stated this to [redacted] from [redacted]), which then led him to ask [redacted] to pick the pup up at his place, which of course they could not and did not want to do, as that was not their initial agreement. As understandable as it was, we then arranged a second shipment with another shipping agency, who does door to door, as the breeder claimed that it was our fault of having booked an unexperienced and incompetent shipper. He then went missing in action, we could not call him, he did not reply any of our numerous messages, emails, what have you. After a few days, after the scheduled date of the second shipping arrangement, he finally responded us via email and said that there is nothing we can do as our dog is notthere anymore. And that if we wanted to buy another pup, he was willing to. We just had to pay eveything all over again. We wanted our pup. The pup that we have chosen. The pup that the breeder called "a living being" but lightly offered us to simply replace it and just pick another one from a future litter. The loss of our dog was not our fault, nor the shippers, as the breeder has claimed. Of course we have various proofs to substantiate this statement. [redacted] and Pets in Transit (our second shipper) also has everything we need to support our complaint as well. As buyers, we have fulfilled our responsibility and agreed to pay whatever costs that came to play. We paid for everything. When he failed to provide a crate, we were willing to buy one for him. When he said that he could not ship the pup via ground (despite the 500 USD that he already charged us for ground shipping to [redacted]), we asked [redacted] to book him a local flight. When he said that it is imposible to ship the pup at that certain date, we were willing to pay him extra kenneling fee. Extra money for the crate, extra money for everything. What else could we have done as buyers? We just wanted to get our pup home. The breeder, however, simply just gave away our fully paid dog, and refused to return any of our money because it was inconvienient for him. He had no rights whatsoever to give away our dog to someone else. The dog was already ours. If he had not given away our dog and pulled through and was patient with the shipping, he only would have waited a week max. If that couldn't have worked, if he had pulled through with the second shipment attempt instead of going missing without any explanation, we would have gotten the pup shipped in a week as well. That is why we think his excuse that he was concerned for the pup's welfare is nonsense. We have consulted this with other breeders out there as well to get a second opinion and they too did not seem to see any problem with having to ship a 7,8,9 or 10 months old pup abroad. It was very doable. He just did not want to.In short, we cannot accept his excuse. We have done everything we could, and the breeder was very irresponsible. This is fraud. And he handled it like it was nothing. That he was out of blame. He has given us various ever changing excuses before this complaint to the Revdex.com about why we could not have our pup nor our money back.We have proof of everything that we are saying here and have also reported this case to the Missouri police department. It is being handled as we speak and we are trying to get this to court.

When we accepted the initial deposit for the pup it was submitted to us from PayPal as detailed in [redacted]'s chronological outline.  At the time it was submitted to us a Hamburg Germany address was provided.  When it came time to finalize shipping for the pup an address in Jakarta Indonesia...

was submitted for shipping.  Within one day we informed [redacted] that she would require the service of a shipping agency.  We provided all health certificates, vaccinations, bloodwork necessary to ship the pup into Indonesia at 12 weeks of age.  We then were delayed by [redacted] and [redacted]'s shipping agent by approximately 6 weeks.  This delay caused a shipping requirement of an IATA 82 reinforced kennel, once the pup reaches 20lbs or 6 months of age this is a requirement. There chosen shipper kept informing them that this was not accurate.  Finally [redacted] followed up with the Airlines and confirmed that indeed a reinforced IATA 82 kennel would be needed.  There shipper could not provide this kennel, these kennels are not readily available and are usually manufactured upon request.  The soonest I could find one was approximately a 9 week waiting period.  In our original agreement we have a nonrefundable $500.00 deposit fro all overseas shipping + $10.00 per day kenneling fee between 8 and 12 weeks of age, $25.00 per day kenneling fee post 12 weeks, bloodwork, titer test, misc. Vet fees all which were provided on time as agreed.  Due to [redacted] and [redacted]'s shipping delay all funds provided were exhausted.  At that time I suggested for the well being of the live animal in question we should try with another litter.  This was an animal that was over 6 months of age and 50 pounds that required socialization and training.  We felt it was in the best interest of the pup to be placed with a foster home that could provide the necessary needs of an adolescent male canine.  If [redacted] and [redacted] would like to move forward with another litter I would be willing to waive the deposit, but kenneling, vaccine, cost of pup, paperwork etc. will be required.

I am rejecting this response because:
We have never once stated that we would like to send the pup to Hamburg, Germany. We have proof for this as well. We have heard this excuse before. We can gladly provide the complete chronology with the original emails and documentation to give a better view of this case, not just random excerpts that are composed to favor one's argument. We have nothing to hide. We can also bring [redacted], [redacted] and everybody else who was involved in this to substantiate our case. Again, we feel like it's becoming an endless argument and would prefer a third party such as a legal court to decide on what is what, rather than just our words against his. We are simply tired of this nonsense. We have proof from [redacted] in the form of a private email between [redacted] and [redacted] (an agent from [redacted]) that the breeder failed to pull through his initial agreement with [redacted], causing sudden arrangements that contributed to shipping failure. In their initial agreement, the breeder was supposed to ship the pup via ground to [redacted]'s airport of service (JFK) (and he has already charged us for this beforehand as well) and that the breeder would provide the crate. Later on the breeder emailed [redacted] and stated that he was having trouble providing a crate and asked [redacted] to pick up the pup at his place. [redacted] then refused because that was not what they agreed upon. One thing led to another, plans changed and shipping fell through. The breeder however refused to acknowledge his mistake in this and blamed the shipper for being incompetent. At first we believed the breeder because we were not aware of his sudden changes with [redacted], that he had problems and altered his agreement with [redacted] in the last minutes until [redacted] came clean to us and told us what happened.  Days after things went chaotic and after the breeder told us that our dog has been long gone, we confronted him again and after arguing for a while he suggested us to find another shipper. An agent that does door to door that can pick the puppy up at his place. When we found a shipper that was willing to ship immediately in such short notice, we informed the breeder about this. We booked the nearest possible date and told him that an agent will pick our pup up at his place. The breeder then went missing in action. He did not return our emails, our calls, our messages, what have you. He suddenly went off radar. The shipping agent even tried contacting him from a different number but had no luck. We then had to cancel the booking for a price again. After the scheduled date of what was supposed to be our pick up date, he suddenly replied our email. His phone was active again. And still he stated that we cannot get our pup nor get our money back without even receiving any explanation on why he suspiciously suddenly went missing when it was supposed to be pick up and shipment time. (For the 2nd time around)
Sincerely,
[redacted]
