Review: An used heating/ac system (HVAC) was purchased and installed by Anchor Heating & Cooling on 3/ 13/ 2014. A deposite check ($600) was made one (1) week prior to the date of the service and the remaining portion of the final payment of $600 in cash (Total$ 1200 USD) was made on that day.

Here is list of my issues;

1. In the beginning, they would not issue a receipt since the work was done under the table (according to them), but after insisting for the proof of the work done by my wife, they finally agreed to issue one and promise that they would leave the receipt to the doorman by next day (3/14). However, as of today (3/19/2014), nothing was ever issued, thus I have no warranty information nor the proof of the work other than the copy of my cleared check from the initial deposite.

2. On 3/16 Sunday night, when I turned on the heating, the warm air was coming out for 3-4 minutes then only the cold air came out with very bad oil smells!! I have two small children and I started to get worried about the smell. I turned off the unit, then checked to see if the A/C would working properly by lowering the thermostate, then turned on the switch again. As I guessed it, no air (cold or hot) were coming out and the unit simply turned off by itself.

3. Next moning (3/17), I've attempted to contact them several times, but no one was picking up the phone and I left a voice message to call me back. No one was returning my calls so I called again, but the voice message said that the voice-mail box was full and disconnected!! I decided to use a differnt phone on 3/18 since no one was picking up the phone, then finally the owner returned the call!! He promised that they would send someone in the afternoon to check it out, but not surprisingly no one showed up.

I'm really fed up with their unethical and fradulence business practices.Desired Settlement: Issuing a receipt and repair the unit that they sold

While Mr. [redacted] was on vacation he received a complaint from [redacted] which was submitted to the Revdex.com. He did not respond to the complaint while he was away. Our company has been, and is still, repairing this customers units. We have given them the receipts for the work which has been done up to date. There should be no issue since we have complied with their requests and they are still asking for our services
