Review: I have two contracts with Anchor Enterprises DBA Anchor Decks and Pools, proprietor/owner Fred C[redacted], to install an in-ground pool in my backyard with a one-year warranty. The first contract is a takeover contract as part of the purchase of a house; the second contract is a change order for additional equipment no in the original contract. The work is only partially complete, with several items (safety rails, light in deep end, hard pool cover, salt water sanitation system, gear-driven automatic pool cleaner, deluxe vacuum system, and others), and The owner has stopped responding to emails texts or phone calls. The owner has already taken payment except for approximately $800 on one of the two contracts (main contract has been fully funded as part of the home purchase), the $800 is to be paid at completion of installation which should have occurred in July. He has repeatedly said he would come out to finish, and then doesn't show; now he evades contact and will not respond except to say, "I'll get back to you tomorrow," and then of course doesn't. He still owes me approximately $5000 of equipment that has been paid for, and the installation of that equipment which has also been paid for. Additionally, there are defects in the equipment he has already installed that need to be repaired as part of installation warranty, and damage and costs being incurred because the installation is incomplete, and water has been in the pool for over a month but the rest of the items have not been installed.Desired Settlement: One of two desired outcomes: The owner completes the installation of all equipment and performs repairs as contracted, or provides the rest of the hardware to be installed, and I can hire another vendor to install it, and get a refund from The owner/ Anchor for the installation charges incurred.

Review: We contracted with this company on 10/12/12 to have our pool renovated and have paid them $11K. As of this date, they have removed the old concrete patio, and pool deck and set forming for cement. The owner keeps emailing saying they are coming to do this and that and they never show up.Desired Settlement: Pool renovation is completed.

Review: I gave [redacted], of Anchor Enterprises of VA a check in the amount of $8,965.00 on 4/15/13 (over a year ago) and he repeatedly promised to install a new liner, water and new pool cover. He finally showed up on August 4, 2013. he removed he old line and cover. The liner he brought was wrong size and had to reorder. He installed a liner on 9/11/13 but did not fill the water with water, cut out the place for the light or filter, repair the concrete he tore up nor provide me with a pool cover. The pool is now filled with dark brown water, leaves a foot deep, a health issue because it promotes bugs and snakes plus I have a two year old in my home. I had another pool company come to inspect the pool and they noticed he did something wrong with the concrete leading up to the pool which has made the concrete weak, it needs a new liner, water, would need the lines inspected and of course the cover. The total of his bill was $8700.00. [redacted] cannot be reached and he will not return calls, emails nor texts. I did have someone else call him once and he returned her call within ten minutes thinking the call was a new customer.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund so that I can have another reputable pool company complete the repairs and make it safe for all especially a two year old toddler. This pool is 30,000 gallons, inground from 4ft to 10 feet.
