Anchor Fence, Inc.

First, when I visited Michigan Tire I spoke with their representative [redacted] informed me that the " city of [redacted] was pressuring them (Michigan Tire) to create an enclosure for their tires and they had a deadline that it had to be done by". " Per [redacted] this was instructed by [redacted] and inspector from the [redacted] City." " [redacted] informed me that he needed the enclosure installed by us right away now." They did ask if they needed a permit and I told them most likely not since this is what you said the city is demanding you have done.  We proceeded to move them to the front of our scheduled jobs. Their install was completed by their deadline. Second, after installing the fence they said they needed a permit. So we applied for it and the permit was denied which I found to be surprising since this is what the city wanted as I was told By [redacted] of Michigan Tire.3, I requested [redacted] number so I could get to the bottom of what the problem was.  [redacted] informed me that Michigan Tire has been told repeatedly by himself that they CAN NOT have any outside storage of tires or anything else whether it's in the open, a cage, or even an enclosed trailer, NO OUTSIDE STORAGE PERIOD. I discussed the situation with [redacted] Jacob; he informed me that this was a standing issue between Michigan Tire and the city of [redacted]. NOT between Anchor Fence Inc. and the city. He then stated"they hired you to do a job knowing full well they were not allowed to have the fence; it is their mistake not yours."  He said" they hired you to do a job, you did the job.  "Therefore this matter is between Michigan Tire and the city not Anchor Fence In and the City.  Fourth, they received a notice to remove the fence by December 28, 2015; which I told them would be an extra charge since it was not our fault.Fifth, I reconsidered an extra charge for removal so I waived it just to further help them out but stated there will be no refund for service already rendered.  Apparently Michigan Tire did a bate and switch on us; knowing the city said no but they'd still have us install the fence and if they still couldn't have it after it was up Anchor Fence Inc. could eat the cost on the install and material? Is this good business by Michigan Tire?Anchor Fence Inc. did everything they could do to help out Michigan Tire but we will not issue a refund on services rendered when we were lied to from the very start.  [redacted]CEO

hide their tires, because they were informed by [redacted] Jacob, a [redacted] City Inspector, that this is what had to be done, and that they had a deadline to get this work done by or around by Nov. 20, 2015 and that they didn't need a permit."  I submitted a quote first of $5956.00 I was then informed that they had a quote from Ultimate Remodeling Inc. of $4800.00 they wanted us to beat their quote so I lowered ours to $5300.00 this was the best I could do and have it installed before their deadline. I called [redacted] left a message that the fence would be done by the deadline date.  We completed this job on Nov. 16, 2015, the balance was paid on Nov 20, 2015. After which Violeta Uldedaj informed us she needed a permit which was not discussed prior. We then applied for a permit which was denied because [redacted] misinformed me as to the inspector ordering a fence to hide the tires. I spoke with [redacted] Dec. 16, 2015 and he informed me that they were repeatedly told they could not have outside storage. [redacted] informed them that they have to apply for a variance by Dec. 28, 2015. and I was informed that this situation is between the City and the Customer not Anchor Fence Inc. Anchor Fence's exceptional customer service comes in by getting this job done by it's deadline. We cannot help it if we were misinformed.
