I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I find the reply to my complaint nothing but dishonest from top to bottomThe check engine light may have been off but there was no repair to the transmission which was bad when the car was sold and I have a mechanic who can attest to the fact and that the car was taken into him only days after purchase and diagnosed with a bad transmissionOne symptom of this transmission problem was a whirring sound which the car was making as we drove off the lot even though the engine light had been shut offThe car still remains in the same shop for repairs and you can see that nearly miles have been put on it since leaving the lot the day of purchaseThat is to say that the car still sits at 95,miles so no miles to speak of have been put on, therefore no driving habits or maintenance to considerAnd furthermore, no phone calls were ever made stating the everything was fine which makes whoever typed the response to my complaint dishonest.

He purchased the vehicle with the check engine light on the vehicle. I sold the vehicle and fixed the repairs needed on the vehicle based prior to customer leaving with the vehicle. So when customer picked up vehicle the repairs were finished. The vehicle was sold with 95000 miles on it and it...
was "AS IS". The customer signed all documents knowing this and agreeing to this, and llke I said, I still fixed the problems diagnosed from service. There is some responsibility to consumer to assume an :as is" vehicle is not going to be brand new. The customer was called a few days later stating everything was good and they were happy. I feel we held up our end as promised upon purchase. No phone calls made for almost 3 months after, there are a lot of variables they can happen. Driving habits, customer maintenance on vehicle?

This issue was resolved next day. She was given check back for her down payment. She agreed to buy car and then backed out of deal.
