I contacted Anchor Moving & Storage in beginning of November 2016. Bob [redacted] Sales Consultant for Anchor, came in person to review our moving needs & determine an estimated weight of our furniture. He was very professional & helpful & emailed me an estimate of the price within 24 hrs. & answered all my questions as needed. Terry [redacted] Move Coordinator guided us along the entire move process & was very friendly & helpful & answered all our questions & concerns. The entire move of our furniture was loaded in 3 hours, to be transported to Florida. The delivery of our goods went off well without a hitch & no problems.
I would highly recommend Anchor Moving & Storage for a long distance move.

Over $6,000 dollars of my items were damaged. Check received less than $500.00 dollars; therefore, leaving me with items that I could not and never replace. This moving company is unprofessional, lack of corporation, etc.... Will never recommend this organization.

Review: My complaint is for a breakdown,invoice(receipt) that I haven't been able to get from anchor mvg/stg,for work that they did on my 2004 [redacted] $2,616.25. This job was performed at [redacted] Ave., [redacted].,at their agency.It was completed on 8.10. 2013. They accepted my payment, without any invoice for the charges. My truck was there for 4 days. One of those days of the 4, I incurred an incredible charge of almost or above $1,200, I have no idea of how they came to that fee. I paid in full, I protested, but I needed to get back on the road,cause of a load that was dispatched to me for the following day. They assured me that they would get everything in order, as far as the breakdown,invoice, for the charges. Here it is the 12th of September, and I have nothing from them. I tried for almost two weeks to talk to **, the manager,( he is also the one who took my payment) he's never there,or he is tied up in a meeting, or he stepped outside, would you care to leave a message,hold. I've done both,numerous times. Also talked to other people people there, [redacted] all stating they would pass the message to **,(manager).With no one else to talk to(according)to the people I did talk to, I'm hoping to get this resolved,by you folks, at the Revdex.com. All I'm askink for is the breakdown invoice, for the charges, that's all.Desired Settlement: Breakdown invoice,receipt,explanation of charges.

After carefully reviewing the complaint by [redacted] we called him, discussed his concerns, explained our position, and gave him a breakdown of the charges which he was requesting. We E-Mailed him a detailed line item invoice immediately upon concluding the conversation. We also issued an apology letter for not having communicated with him in a manner he deemed appropriate. [redacted] was pleased with our response and has given us his assurance that he will retract the comments he originally made.
