We are actively working with the credit bureaus to rectify this issue.  It will take some time to resolve.  The business manager from Anchor Nissan will reach out to the customer when we achieve a resolution.

The information that I forwarded in my last email applies to ALL credit agencies, including [redacted] and Trans Union which the complaintant has specified she is concerned with. The report that she has provided for us shows a record of recent inquiries. It does not say anything about affecting her credit NEGATIVELY. Also, these inquiries DO NOT show any denials or acceptance. Anyone pulling her credit cannot see if she was accepted or declined. No credit reports show results of decisions, only inquiries. Also, I did not say that her credit history was resposible for her low score. I said that based on the fact that these auto inquiries do not drop her score, (as proven by the documents provided) and her score is low, maybe her score was not as high as she originally thought. Is that due to credit/payment history? I'm sure that is part of it. As far as a disclaimer, based on the information that I provided it is not necessary. Customers expect us to find the lowest rate that is available and that is what we try to do. The assertion that Anchor Nissan's actions were entrapment is insulting and flat out wrong. The complaintant filled out the application of her own free will and signed off to have us attempt to attain financing for her. Entrapment?Multiple inquiries do not imply desperation or instability when associated with an auto loan, mortgage or student loan. They are common place and they DO NOT AFFECT CREDIT SCORE as indicated in the documents that I provided. We cannot continue to debate the effects of inquiries when I have provided rock solid proof of what those effects are but the complaintant chooses to ignore that and disagree. If the complaintant was concerned with inquiries, why did she go to multiple dealerships AFTER us and continue to apply?  It appears that we are not going to see eye to eye on this but I ask the Revdex.com to look at the documents provided and render a decision based in reality and facts.Thank you

To whom it may concern. In further response to complaint # [redacted], we have done further research. As we continue to work with [redacted] to have a few inquiries removed from the customer’s credit history we are being told by all credit bureaus that multiple inquiries while shopping rates for an automobile, mortgage and student loans are treated differently. In fact, credit bureaus and lenders recognize that shopping for only one car or mortgage does not mean that a customer is trying to open multiple accounts. Credit scoring systems have been designed to account for that practice and include rules such as counting the same type of inquiry as only one inquiry as long as they are made within a short period of time. I have taken this directly from [redacted]’s website and am attaching the entire piece. I am also attaching an article from [redacted] entitled Credit Checks and Inquiries. This contains a Q&A which further details this. Both the Revdex.com and more importantly the customer can go on these and other credit bureau websites and find the same information. In summary, although we are continuing to do what we can with [redacted] about removing some inquiries, it is unnecessary. The basis for this complaint is incorrect and the customer is misinformed. If the customer experienced any major drop in her credit score it must be from other causes or the score was not as high as she was thinking. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. Based on the facts, we respectfully ask the Revdex.com to remove this complaint effective immediately. Thank you,[redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted]. Please add your rejection comments below.      With regard to the above comments:  First, this situation effected two credit agencies [redacted] and [redacted]; I forwarded this information to [redacted], the Finance Director at Anchor Nissan, which I'm now forwarding to you.  The portion of the report that this information is listed under is "Inquiries that NEGATIVELY affect your credit".  I'm am applying for a new residence-NOT FOR CREDIT OR A LOAN.  These hard inquiries show that I was denied for each bank/credit union/lender, which one could infer if they were renting me an apartment or home, that I am a credit risk as they look at my payment and credit history, not my FICO score.  I also resent the statement made that my credit score is low due to my credit history, when he has not seen my credit record to know that ALL my outstanding debt was and is PAID.  That was the purpose in paying off all the negative accounts on all 3 credit reporting agencies, continuing to make payments on time and to not incur any debt or hard inquiries.  Lastly, as I mentioned to [redacted] at Anchor Nissan, they should have to give a disclaimer as to how their loan process works prior to the application in order ensure that these issues don't arise again.  Had I been advised that my information would be sent to 10 banks/lenders/credit unions, I would not have applied and they are aware that any savvy consumer wouldn't either. So for me, there is a basis for this claim, as this business practice in my opinion is entrapment, because Anchor Nissan and the financial institutions they deal with now have my personal information .Whether Anchor Nissan or the credit reporting agencies feel it's necessary-I do, as it is my credit.  As a consumer, I have the right to question, appeal, challenge and if necessary take further action to clear my credit records of any derogatory information.  This is derogatory information and implies desperation and credit instability.  I do not want to perceived in this way.Thank you.
