Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:I guess the credit will just sit there until I moveBack to AlaskaHaven't used the membership for a long while cause I didn't know I had itThe email was an old one I don't use and just happened to be logging on to deactivate it when I saw email from themDuring this whole time no one tried to called me and be like hey your card isn't working is there another card to use which would have alerted me to the problemI'm left with footing the bill for something I didn't use didn't know I signed up for and can't useAwesomeSincerely,*** ***

To whom it may concern,
*** purchased the Anchorage Yoga & Cycle membership online on August 10th. Before completing membership transactions, clients are informed to read over the contract that they are agreeing toThey then are promoted to check a box that states they
accept the terms and conditions of the membershipOur AYC membership is a discounted rate of $138/mo and we are currently offering 50% off of the first month of membership.
*** paid $for one month of membership (50% off of $138) on 8/10, please note that we do not currently offer a combined month unlimited package, month of Yoga Unlimited = $and month of Cycle unlimited is $138, so this is a value of $
*** accrued a balance of $on 9/17, after our system attempted to run the invalid CC on file days in a row (this is procedure) on her next payment date, 9/10. The contract states that clients need to have a valid cc on file for the auto-payment to runShe was charged a late payment fee of $after not having a valid CC on file when we attempted to run her second paymentEach time we attempt to charge a client’s CC on file an auto-email goes out information them that we need an updated CC on file and that a transaction of XXX amount was unsuccessfulI verified that her email was correct in the system when I spoke with her over the phone
In the first month of membership, *** was registered for yoga & cycle classes. I provided her with an option to break the contract: purchase a class package ($170) to pay for the classes used and in exchange I would void the contract and the remaining balance ($47) would go to her account to be used as account credit within our Company.
As a courtesy I broke the contract for this client due to her misunderstanding even though the terms are clearly stated on the contract as well as on our website directly next to the button which will lead clients to the check-out page, "Minimum month commitment; auto-renew each month." As a courtesy, I provided her with the difference of the class pack and what she had already paid towards the membership to her AYC account to be used as credit with us. Please let me know if you ned anything else from us.

To whom it may concern, Our membership is a 3 month contractual agreement to which clients sign a contract either online or in studio stating that a reoccurring payment of $108 will be charged to their CC each month on a designated payment date.  In the contract it states that we require...

30 days notice prior to their last billing date to cancel. To cancel, members need to submit a form online that can be found under a "forms" tab on our website.  I would like to note as a courtesy we adjusted [redacted] payment date in April per her request. [redacted] received emails from our company each time her payment didn't go through due to not having a valid CC on file. She wrote to [redacted]@gmail.com and one of our owners responded and explained in great detail why she still owes.  Myself and an employee who works on client accounts who have outstanding balances had attempted to contact [redacted] via email on multiple occasions and have it documented in our system.  Please feel free to contact our studio at any time to discuss this further. Customer’s Statement of the Problem:I started the unlimited three month membership with anchorage yoga. I figured after the third month that my membership would end. It does not say that you have to cancel 30 days in advance. So by the time I went to cancel they told me I had to pay for an extra month. Now they charge me each other for a service I can not use nor will I pay for and will not cancel my membership till I pay racking up a very large bill. Complaint Background:Product/Service: Yoga membershipPurchase Date: 3/15/2015Problem Occurred: 6/15/2015Model: NaAccount Number: Order Number: Talked to Company: 6/16/2015Talked to Company (2nd): 7/4/2015Name of Salesperson:  Purchase Price: $80.50Disputed Amount: $188.00 Desired Settlement:Drop the charges and cancel my membership.
