He first stopped showing up and doing work several months ago, even though I was paying every money request on timeThis lasted two monthsThen he said that he needed additional money for items yet to be installedAfter I filed a complaint, he changed his mind and said this money is for things _already_ installed and would not do any more work until I paid(Despite my paying every request on time before his two-month hiatus.) I have since been contacted by another customer of his who had a similar experience of his dropping the project half-way through

Good morning, Here are attached: 1. proposal for the work at [redacted].I do not have signed one but [redacted] has the same one which is signed. 2. scope of work I sent to building manager and [redacted] 3. in order to explain to [redacted] extra work that I performed in his apartment I hand wrothe next to each number what it was. I also sent it to him via email I January.   Extra wor was: 1.  #6 installation of new cabinet. Proposal clearly said that BUILDING OR PURCESING CABINET IS NOT INCLUDED. 2.  #7 price includes relocating electrical panel end electrical work in bathroom,but do not mention any lihts installation nor purcesing it. I PURCHASED AND INSTALLED 14 LIGHTS and 2 SWITCHES 3.  #8 we plan to install only 1 door with molding and casing.He asked for 2nd door with molding and casing so I charged for 2nd the same amount of money as for first.  4.  #11 Estimate clarly said PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDES ANY ITEMS. [redacted] did not aggree to pay it again. 5.  # Material prices line is clar what is included in price. NO VANITY,COUNTERTOP,TOILET are included. Reason for that was at the time of  making proposal we did not know what kind of material he would chose and prices vary  and it is huge vary in price diffrence.   Please let me know if you need anything else. Review: The first two months of the $74,650 bathroom renovation job went perfectly, and I was paying him ahead of schedule. Then, when we were about halfway through, he started missing deadlines, delaying, and creating excuses. He started asking for more money for extras not in the contract, and then he just stopped responding to my emails and calls, and has since just disappeared. My bathroom is in a half-finished state. Further internet research shows that he has gone under a couple different names (ADJ Contracting, AND Contracting, using [redacted] and [redacted]) and has been the subject of similar complaints in the past.
