Review: I had taken my [redacted] 32 in smart tv to this so called reputable business that I found on the internet. I called them and explained the situation about my TV. They told me that they would have to see the TV to do an diagnostic on my TV and be able to determine what the problem was. I paid $42.35 for the diagnostic service which they say they would apply towards the repair of the TV. I left them with my Smart tv on March 27, 2014 with remote. They contacted me and told me that I had to pay $109.05 on top of the $42.35 that I had previously paid to order this part. So I went to the shop on March 28,2014 to pay the $109.05 and they told me that I would only have a balance of $50.00 to pay when I pick up my TV. So I continued to call them and got one of the technician who stated that they couldn't find my paper work and to call back in the morning to speak with Elyse. So I called and she tells me that they are still waiting for the parts. So two weeks ago they said they got the part and it is being repaired. They called me back and told me it was my screen that was damaged and they never addressed this issue from the beginning when I paid the $42.35 for this diagnostic after they determined that it was the mother board. So now i'm getting agitated because they keep switching their stories every time I called. So I stopped in and asked to see my tv and Elyse tells me that the tv is in storage last week 05/1/2014 and that she will give me a call this week once they dig it out of storage. Elyse tried to offer me a refurbished scott lcd tv with no stand to replace my [redacted] smart tv which was no comparison. I refused the offer and informed Elyse that I want my refund and my TV back. So today 05/08/2014 I contacted Elyse to see if they found my tv that was in storage and she replied that my tv was disposed a month ago. So how is it that they tell me last week that my TV was in storage and then today Elyse tells me that my TV was disposed last month. Something should have warned me prior to handing my TV over to this repair shop when I saw all those TV's laying on the floor and on the counter inoperable and they are probably stripping parts from everyones TV to repair other TV's. They have had my TV since March 27th and it is now May 8. I asked for my refund and Elyse states they don't offer refunds which is not on the receipt and they try to offer you a crappy TV.Desired Settlement: Someone needs to go and investigate this business because it doesn't take months to repair a TV set and they decide to dispose the TV without informing the owner . I will contact [redacted] and let them know about this business using their name and providing crappy service.
