I am rejecting this response because: It's still very frustrating to continue hearing excuses and attempts at justification for this situation I checked with the auto body shop that originally installed the fender flares on my truck and the flares still available today for purchaseThe fender flares that Anderson Auto Body installed do not line up with the front bumper, because they're the wrong sizeI would never want them to paint and install the other they gave me because they don't line up with rest of the body panelsIt looks and is incorrect compared to the flares that were on my vehicle prior to this collision repairThe fender flare that is installed needs to be removed and the right sized one should be installed Andersons Auto Body's claim to "slightly" off center is over an 1/of a turn out of centerI have pictures and can upload on another responseI would like to see their information on the "properly specs" on my trucks alignmentI had the same tires on the truck before that accident and never noticed any affects on "the feel" of the road before this accident repairThe alignment check I had done shows how badly the toe of the vehicle was offI have provided this information to the insurance adjuster, and can summit it with another response or directly to Anderson Auto Body to receive payment for the alignmentIt's also possible in the picture of the steering wheel you will see the indicator lights The valve stem caps have a Green "N" sticker on them indicating that they're filled with NitrogenThis is the first auto body shop I have worked with unaware of what that stands forThe tire pressure monitor system light is still on, I have not had them relearned yet I find it very odd that my truck happened to have "existing" weld evidence on it in the exact location that was repaired by Anderson Auto BodyI would ask for proof of existing welds before Anderson Auto Body began straightening and attempting frame repairsTo add on the frame discussion, I was informed that after the first attempt to fix the frame didn't go the way they wanted, they were going to have to try again (part of the time delay) I had assumed this was normal, after doing some research I understand its not recommend by the factoryAlso worth noting, I was told because of the money they had already spent trying to pull the frame straight that they had no choice but to continue moving forward with trying to fixing the frame versus replacing itI would also request to see their frame sheet that shows my truck meeting specs, after repairsIf possible to see it before repairs were attempted? I did pick up my vehicle on a Saturday after had received a confirmation call the night before that everything was complete and ready to go, I feel that they were very rushed in putting my truck back together simply to get it out the door and collect their moneyI was extremely agitated when I called the body shop, I had left my home at am and drove hours Anderson Auto Body(I work on the road and the accident occurred while at work for the week) and after driving miles from the shop I now had lights pop up on my dashThe staff at Anderson Auto Body informed me it "would probably have to be returned to the shop for them to do look into the issues", I had already returned my rental vehicle, and argued over my lost time traveling there and back based on them telling me repairs were complete when in fact they weren't The prior accident mentioned was a deer collision that did damage to the front right hand side of the vehicleThe repairs Anderson Auto Body made were on the front left hand side of the vehicleAs I mentioned above the fender flare installed and provided is incorrect and I want the right size flare installed so the body panels align properlyI have summited the alignment spec sheet from original work done by Anderson Auto to the insurance adjuster, and will provide to Anderson Auto for reimbursementI have also summited the frame spec sheet and invoice to the insurance adjuster, I will provide the information to Anderson Auto for reimbursement of the frame inspection, and showing the specs being out of tolerance I had provided this information to the insurance adjuster so he could work with the insurance company on the improper repairs, however they told that they can not guarantee quality of work and that I would have to pursue Anderson Auto Body on my ownI was also had the understanding discussing it with the adjuster that he was going to review the information with Anderson Auto BodyIt's also worth mentioning I was recommended to use Anderson Auto shop by the insurance adjuster

2nd response to Mr***'s complaint on body shop repairs:Fender flares: we would be willing to work with the body shop that originally installed the flares on this vehicle as we were unsuccessful in finding the exact replacement flareWe would require direct contact with this shop in order to fairly resolve this issue.2.As previously stated, upon receipt of the new alignment spec sheet and paid receipt for this service, we will reimburse for this expense.3.Tire pressure light was not on when vehicle left our shopThis can come on for numerous reasonsIt it was on due to relearn, it should have been on at our shop before the truck left hereNitrogen filled tires: nitrogen fill is a option some people choose to haveIt is not critical to safe and proper inflation of a tireWe've had many vehicles in our shop with green valve stem caps that contain shop airIt was never mentioned we were to put nitrogen in the tiresIf Mr*** is not familiar with performing a tire pressure reset, and is hung up on having nitrogen filled tires, as a good faith gesture, we would consider reimbursement for these services so long as they are fair and reasonable.4.Again, as previously stated, upon receipt of the frame spec sheet and paid receipt for this service, if the area of the frame we worked on is grossly out of spec we will consider reimbursement for this inspection. I conclude by reiterating, Mr*** was asked to immediately return to our shop so we could address his concerns.Unfortunately, we were not given the opportunity to do soGiven the chance to address his complaints right away could have avoided this unfortunate set of circumstances. Respectfully,Peter ***

Thank you for the notice regarding [redacted]'s complaint concerning his truck repairs with our collision center, and the opportunity to respond to his complaints. Mr. [redacted]'s truck was towed by others into our collision center due to a front end accident. In response to his concerns, please find...

the following explantions helpful:1.This truck has nemerous aftermarket accessories on it such as: aftermarket wheels, front bumper assembly, fender flares, etc. Due to the nature of the aftermarket accessory business, often times these parts go out of style after a period of time and can be difficult and often impossible to find exact replacements. Our shop personnel did their best in attempting to locate a fender flare (only one was required for this repair) that was the same as the others on the truck. The replacement flare is so close to the others that we did not notice it was slightly different until it was painted and installed on the truck. We were required to purchase a set of 4 flares as they could not be split up. Had we noticed the slight difference prior to the evening before he came to pick up the vehicle we would have painted and installed all four flares so they would all be exactly the same. The remaining 3 flares were placed inside of the truck for him in the event he elected to replace the remaining flares.2.Steer wheel slightly off center: our technicians aligned the vehicle so that it was in spec and goes down the road straight. We informed Mr. [redacted] the steering wheel was slightly off center prior to him picking it up. In some cases it is nearly impossible to have a perfectly straight steering wheel and proper alignment specs. The wheel can be straight when on the alignment rack but other influences such as the road it is being driven on can create a situation where the wheel has to be turned slighly to go down the road straight. There are also very aggressive oversize tires on this vehicle that affects "the feel" of the road. It is worth noting there was no "stability traction control" light on when the vehicle left our shop.3.We had to replace one tire pressure monitor due to the wheels and tires being replaced. There was never any mention of nitrogen fill rather than regular air to fill the tires. No tire pressure monitor lights were on when the truck was released.4.This truck frame was straightened so that the body panels fit correctly, could be properly aligned, and the vehicle went down the road straight. There was evidence of welding in the frontal area prior to our getting the truck. There are additional circumstances regarding this matter that need to be brought to light: Mr. [redacted]'s truck was down a abnormal period of time due to problems getting aftermarket parts installed by others (accessories) that were damaged in this accident. This delay was also brought on because of discussions with the insurance company, and correspondence with all parties regarding some of these parts, so that all were ok with the decisions made. More importantly,  Mr. [redacted] picked his truck up on a Saturday, drove approximately 20 miles and called our shop. He was agitated and was asked to return to our shop immediately. We has adequeate staff on that day that could have addressed most of his concerns that same day.He refused to turn around and bring the truck back to us to look at.Mr. [redacted] was extremely rude and uncooperative, would not listen to reason, and was swearing and yelling so much at our staff our staff person ended up hanging up the phone. This truck was road tested, went down the road straight, and had no dash warning lights or tire lights on  prior to being picked up. It was also disclosed to us by Mr. [redacted], this truck was in a prior accident and had been repaired (substantially) before the accident dame we repaired. He is requesting reimbursement for fender flares, money he spent on another alignment, frame inspection, and a new frame. We deem it fair and right, that we would paint and install the remaining 3 fender flares for him so all are an exact match, provided he brings us the truck back or we work (within reason) with a shop closer to him (he has the flares).  Upon receipt of a copy of the alignment spec sheet and paid invoice for the alignment, we will reimburse him for this expense.  Upon receipt of frame spec sheet and paid invoice, we will consider reimbursement of such expense if spec sheet indicates the area of the frame we worked on is grossly out of spec, and not from a previous accident.  Regarding entire frame replacement, that decision would need to be made by the insurance company handling this matter. Thank you again for the opportunity to respond to this matter, I am hopeful this can be resolved by all parties in a timely and fair fashion. Respectfully, Peter [redacted]Anderson Auto Service

I am rejecting this response because:
It's still very frustrating to continue hearing excuses and attempts at justification for this situation.  1. I checked with the auto body shop that originally installed the fender flares on my truck and the flares still available today for purchase. The fender flares that Anderson Auto Body installed do not line up with the front bumper, because they're the wrong size. I would never want them to paint and install the other 3 they gave me because they don't line up with rest of the body panels. It looks and is incorrect compared to the flares that were on my vehicle prior to this collision repair. The fender flare that is installed needs to be removed and the right sized one should be installed.  2. Andersons Auto Body's claim to "slightly" off center is over an 1/8 of a turn out of center. I have pictures and can upload on another response. I would like to see their information on the "properly specs" on my trucks alignment. I had the same tires on the truck before that accident and never noticed any affects on "the feel" of the road before this accident repair. The alignment check I had done shows how badly the toe of the vehicle was off. I have provided this information to the insurance adjuster, and can summit it with another response or directly to Anderson Auto Body to receive payment for the alignment. It's also possible in the picture of the steering wheel you will see the indicator lights.  3. The valve stem caps have a Green "N" sticker on them indicating that they're filled with Nitrogen. This is the first auto body shop I have worked with unaware of what that stands for. The tire pressure monitor system light is still on, I have not had them relearned yet.  4. I find it very odd that my truck happened to have "existing" weld evidence on it in the exact location that was repaired by Anderson Auto Body. I would ask for proof of existing welds before Anderson Auto Body began straightening and attempting frame repairs. To add on the frame discussion, I was informed that after the first attempt to fix the frame didn't go the way they wanted, they were going to have to try again (part of the time delay).  I had assumed this was normal, after doing some research I understand its not recommend by the factory. Also worth noting, I was told because of the money they had already spent trying to pull the frame straight that they had no choice but to continue moving forward with trying to fixing the frame versus replacing it. I would also request to see their frame sheet that shows my truck meeting specs, after repairs. If possible to see it before repairs were attempted?   I did pick up my vehicle on a Saturday after had received a confirmation call the night before that everything was complete and ready to go, I feel that they were very rushed in putting my truck back together simply to get it out the door and collect their money. I was extremely agitated when I called the body shop, I had left my home at 4 am and drove 4 hours Anderson Auto Body. (I work on the road and the accident occurred while at work for the week) and after driving 20 miles from the shop I now had 3 lights pop up on my dash. The staff at Anderson Auto Body informed me it "would probably have to be returned to the shop for them to do look into the issues", I had already returned my rental vehicle, and argued over my lost time traveling there and back based on them telling me repairs were complete when in fact they weren't.  The prior accident mentioned was a deer collision that did damage to the front right hand side of the vehicle. The repairs Anderson Auto Body made were on the front left hand side of the vehicle. As I mentioned above the fender flare installed and provided is incorrect and I want the right size flare installed so the body panels align properly. I have summited the alignment spec sheet from original work done by Anderson Auto to the insurance adjuster, and will provide to Anderson Auto for reimbursement. I have also summited the frame spec sheet and invoice to the insurance adjuster, I will provide the information to Anderson Auto for reimbursement of the frame inspection, and showing the specs being out of tolerance.  I had provided this information to the insurance adjuster so he could work with the insurance company on the improper repairs, however they told that they can not guarantee quality of work and that I would have to pursue Anderson Auto Body on my own. I was also had the understanding discussing it with the adjuster that he was going to review the information with Anderson Auto Body. It's also worth mentioning I was recommended to use Anderson Auto shop by the insurance adjuster.
