Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Anderson Chiropractic's response is that I am paying for services already renderedOn March 1st, when I spoke with his office manager, she stated that I had used of my contracted visits and that it would be cheaper to just pay out my contract rather than paying for the individual visitsShe also stated that if I lived closer I could just continue receiving my treatment, but since I have moved so far away, she was very sorry there wasn't anything she could do, I just needed to go ahead and pay out the contractShe then proceeded to inquire about my personal relationship status with a former client of Anderson Chiropractic Sincerely, [redacted]

I am in receipt of your letter dated April 5, 2017, regarding a complaint lodged from my patient [redacted] .In [redacted] 's complaint she statedthat she thoughtshe was paying for a service contractThis is incorrect; she is paying for care she has already received.The care for most patients requiresmore frequent visits in the beginning; therefore, the majority of the expense is also at the beginning of careTo ease this financial commitment we offer patients the option of paying equal payments for their care This is what [redacted] chose to utilize.I feel that HIPAA guidelines prevent me from discussing anything more detailed than this on [redacted] ' s careIf more information is requested I will require signed consent from [redacted] We would be more than willing to discuss this with [redacted] directly if she wishes

I am rejecting this response because:Anderson Chiropractic's response is that I am paying for services already rendered. On March 1st, when I spoke with his office manager, she stated that I had used 60 of my 70 contracted visits and that it would be cheaper to just pay out my contract rather than paying for the individual visits. She also stated that if I lived closer I could just continue receiving my treatment, but since I have moved so far away, she was very sorry there wasn't anything she could do, I just needed to go ahead and pay out the contract. She then proceeded to inquire about my personal relationship status with a former client of Anderson Chiropractic.
