On March 16th I took my father, an year old male with dementia, to Anderson Dental Group for a tooth cleaning This was the second time dad has been here for a cleaning Zack, the dental hygienist, found a cavity in tooth # (It should be noted that the certificate for Zack hanging on the wall is expired by over a year That should have been my first red flag.) An appointment was made for March 24th to do a filling on tooth # On March 24th dad and I arrived minutes early for the am appoint At 9:am, nurse Anna showed dad to the dentist chair At 9:am I noticed DrChurch go into a room my father was not in I went to the room my father was in and nurse Anne quickly apologized I then noticed that dad had been sitting in the chair for minutes, UNSEEN BY A DENTIST, and DrC [redacted] had gone to another patient Nurse Anne explained that there was a mix up and it would be awhile until DrC [redacted] came in to see dad At this time (9:am) dad and I left the Anderson Dental Group of [redacted] , [redacted] I spoke with Jenise (sp?) the office manager, on the way out, who apologized but could not explain why DrC [redacted] would treat a patient, let alone a patient with dementia in such a disrespectful manner Nor could she explain how DrC [redacted] was running so far behind within the very first hour of the day I would not recommend DrC [redacted] of Anderson Dental Group to anyone because of the treatment he gave this senior adult

On March 16th I took my father, an 83 year old male with dementia, to Anderson Dental Group for a tooth cleaning. This was the second time dad has been here for a cleaning. Zack, the dental hygienist, found a cavity in tooth #7. (It should be noted that the certificate for Zack hanging on the wall is expired by over a year. That should have been my first red flag.)
An appointment was made for March 24th to do a filling on tooth #7. On March 24th dad and I arrived 5 minutes early for the 9 am appoint. At 9:10 am, nurse Anna showed dad to the dentist chair. At 9:30 am I noticed Dr. Church go into a room my father was not in. I went to the room my father was in and nurse Anne quickly apologized. I then noticed that dad had been sitting in the chair for 20 minutes, UNSEEN BY A DENTIST, and Dr. C[redacted] had gone to another patient. Nurse Anne explained that there was a mix up and it would be awhile until Dr. C[redacted] came in to see dad.
At this time (9:35 am) dad and I left the Anderson Dental Group of [redacted], [redacted].
I spoke with Jenise (sp?) the office manager, on the way out, who apologized but could not explain why Dr. C[redacted] would treat a patient, let alone a patient with dementia in such a disrespectful manner. Nor could she explain how Dr. C[redacted] was running so far behind within the very first hour of the day.
I would not recommend Dr. C[redacted] of Anderson Dental Group to anyone because of the treatment he gave this senior adult.
