October 21, 2015This letter is in response to the complaint that was filled against Sleep Disorders Centers of the Mid AtlanticThe patient came to our company and had a sleep study on 09/12/15; once the report was completed and reviewed it was then faxed over to the ordering doctor on 09/30/15, At
that point the ordering physician normally contacts the patient.Our company has never accepted *** ***The patient did speak with the billing department on 09/21/and at that time the decision was to wait for the claim to be processed by the insurance then to setup a payment planOnce the claim was processed a statement was sent out to the patient with the exact amount owing, upon receiving that statement the patient should have contacted the billing office to then setup the payment planSince the statement was sent the billing office has not received any calls or messages regarding the matter.The patients insurance only paid our company and we did a contractual adjustment of 1,and billed the patient for the deductible and copay owing (per the insurance).Thank you,

I am rejecting this response because:Nothing that they said in their response is true, and it's absurd that I never received a call or email back from them during the last months until now.The first paragraph where they say the report was completed and then sent to my ordering doctor - - That is not what Jane told me would happen * see attached email - - 2nd entry down, from Jane on Sep at 2:38pm, first two lines: She told me that they would let me know when it was completed And after that, when I emailed them weekly (after they supposedly sent the report to my physician) asking for my report status, why didn't they contact me and tell me that it was done since it was obvious I hadn't heard from that office? Why did no one return my calls or emails, regardless?The second paragraph where they say I was supposed to call the billing department - - That is not what Kristie told me on 9/ She told me that once she rec'd the paperwork from the insurance company, that SHE would call me to activate the monthly payments.They did not send the bill out to me until Oct, as noted on the envelope I have attached I rec'd the bill the next day, and it shows at the bottom left that is late I called the office to ask about the bill - and my status since I still hadn't heard anything - the day after I rec'd it in the mail and didn't hear back Then I filed this complaint on the 19th STheir response that they finished my report on 9/and sent it to my doctor is the FIRST time I have heard from anyone that the results are in I just called my doctor's office and they said they did receive the fax on 9/but it is not their job to call me about the results And that any time they send a patient somewhere for a referral, that it is THAT facilities responsibility to follwith a diagnosis and determine future care, etc ** refer to same email from Jane, as noted above, where she says just that.And see attached photo of my timeline, showing detailed dates and times that I left voice messages and emails, all ignored for the last weeks until I threatened them with Revdex.com action Coincidentally, I did receive a very flowery, nice voice mail from Jane on 10/21, asking me to call the office This was apparently right after they rec'd notice that I had filed this complaint I did not return her call and do not intend to deal with them further I do not intend to pay this bill and I do intend to alert my insurance as soon as your decision is made so that they can pursue refunds from the company This matter should be dropped entirely from my responsibilities and I should receive a formal apology from all parties involved (Jane, Kristie, the office in general)
