Anderson Heating & Air Conditioning

We feel that if we had not been forced to use this company because of the threat to charge us the $1,347 we would have gone to another company We called this company to report a problem with our heater, they stated it needed a new capacitor, stated the coil was 100% plugged, we ordered a new heater & Air conditioner and paid them with a check. Next day called and said the heater was not working, they said they would charge us another service charge we stated that was not right because it was not repaired the first time properly they were very rude about it and we said we would cancel the order they said they would charge us $1,347 for cancelling. They installed the new heater & Air the first motor burned out because they wired it wrong, the second motor was two large for the heater and it also was wired wrong, the third heater was installed and is now working properly so far. It took a total of nine days to get proper heat in our home.Now that the replacement motor is in the heater seems to working properly, however, there is still a question as to how much damage was done to the heater itself with the wrong motor being in there and them burning out two of the three motors they installed the coils heated up enough that the house smelled bad. We are concerned as to the length of time this heater will last, and because they replaced the second motor with one that did not belong in the heater the company that warranties it will not stand by the warranty. Desired SettlementWe would like for them to be responsible to pay for another company of our choosing to check out the heater and be sure it is installed correctly and that no damage has been done to the heater and Air Conditioner due to their wiring it improperly and the coils heating up. We just want to make sure that what we paid them for we got.We feel that if we had not been forced to use this company because of the threat to charge us the $1,247.00 charge ( which was not listed as a fee charge on any of the paperwork and the fact that we called them at 8AM the next morning to tell them that heater did not work) we would have gone to some other company to purchase the new heater and Air Conditioner. We would have there fore avoided the 9 days with no heat, and the aggravation that we had to go through.
