I had other repairs being done and only *** ***s crew said no one was homeI wonder then why I was not called when they were on their way or when they supposedly didn't get an answer Perhaps I would not have been as upset if I hadn't had to call him back about matters: crew leaving construction material on my property and then the leakHe has a contract and I have a warranty therefore if the roof is defective in any way he should have to honor his contract

To whom it may concern, regarding the complaint from Mrs. [redacted]. We received a text on 5/10/16 that she had a leak in the bedroom downstairs, I replied within 40 min. of her text. I had told Mrs. [redacted] that we would need to get in and take a look at it from the inside, we had made arrangements...
to come out at 7am the next day. She said that she didn't think that my sub-contractor knew what he was doing since they where out there once before to try to find the leak and wanted me to come out there myself, I told her that I would not be there but the roofer would. I had reviewed texts from her on 5/11/16 sent at 7:08 saying that they where not there, I was driving to a State exam so I could not respond at the time she sent that text, after my exam I texted her and told her at 12:10 (my exam lasted until 12)and that I would find out what was going on. That evening I texted her and told her that the roofer where there around 6:35 that morning and got no answer, they came back around 8am and no answer again and went on the roof, they where early. She responded with telling me that's a lie, and my word means nothing. She also said DONT CALL ME A LIAR which I did not, I said don't call me a liar and that she was unprofessional, I also told her that she was blowing things out of proportion she was the one telling me I lied. I also said don't bother texting me she can call if she wants to talk.(I did save my texts). She responded by saying (Be professional and do my job) .I had call my roofer again to confirm that he was there at that time and he said he was early but he was there, he also told me that he didn't believe that that leak was come from the roof, it's in another area. I have had the same roofing crew for over 10 years and we have a great relationship, so when he tells me something about a job I believe him. I have always tried to be polite and professional with Mrs. [redacted] and try to solve this problem. I also call [redacted] and told them about the way Mrs. [redacted] responded to my efforts and that I would not be working with her on that area of the leak ( which is NOT ) the roof, and if it was the roof I would have gladly helped her out at no cost. The original complaint was that her (Ann [redacted]) berry bushes were damage in fall of 2016 when the roof was done, in spring 2017 they were in full bloom. After seeing that I and the technical inspector at NIDC did not feel the need to replace something that was not damaged. After...
the job was complete Ann asked me to do more work for her I told her that I would send someone over to do it late fall 2017. unfortunately we didn't get there fast enough for Ann, so now she has been calling me repeatedly telling me she will not stop calling until she gets her $50 Home depot card. I will not send her a gift card because there will not be ant proof that I gave it to her, but I will send her a $50 check.Hopefully Ann will spend the money on cleaning Items, because her house stinks of animal feces that's through out the house and basement, so Animal welfare or the Health Department don't have any problems with her or her animals.
