Complaint[redacted]We purchased a 2015 [redacted] with 77kms on Mar 21/15 from salesperson [redacted]. The vehicle price on the invoice was $48,075.00 before any fees and taxes. We traded our 2011 [redacted] with 172,000kms for it, getting $15,000 for it.We drove home on highway except for 6kms of gravel. Woke up next morning to a flat tire, which happened due to a small stone puncturing the tire. We went online and checked tires to find they are not meant for gravel. Upon contacting dealer they offered to buy back tires at minimal amount and sell us new tires at wholesale cost. Our total loan after our trade-in price, fees, taxes, and insurance has come to $48,588.80. And now we are looking at having to spend another $1200.00 on new tires. [redacted]. After contacting the dealer and expressing we were unsatisfied, and want to bring this vehicle back and take back our [redacted] we traded for it, the manager, [redacted], said absolutely not, they refuse to do it. [redacted]Desired SettlementBecause they are refusing to give us back our trade, we want to return the vehicle we purchased on loan. We would like ALL our money back, including all costs of registration and document fees, etching, taxes, tire tax, insurance added on loan etc. We WOULD like our 2011 [redacted] we traded back. If they cannot provide us our vehicle, we would like the full loan amount back to pay off thoses costs and the $15,000 that was valued on our trade.Business Response [redacted]It is our position to try to help customers out as fairly and as resonally as possible. First it is not our fault that a stone punchured the tire.Also at the time of purchase they were offered tire warranty that they refused. When they took delivery of there new [redacted] they acceppted all the equipment that it came with including the tires. Again we will help them by changing there tires to whatever they want all they will have to pay is what ever the cost is to us. [redacted] Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)We do not recall being offered tire warranty. Do not all brand new tires have road Hazzard warranty?? We were not expecting to have issues with a brand new tire in two hours of owning it. Secondly, we were also told by the salesperson the vehicle definitely had the premium sound in it but upon further research the next day, we learned that it IS NOT in our vehicle. We were fully willing to deal with the dealer on a reasonable solution to our tire dilemma, but with the absolute lack of them willing to deal with us by telling us to "take it up with [redacted]" about our tires, [redacted], we asked to have our trade in returned to us and we were told "absolutely not". We want our traded vehicle back or the equivalent of what we were paid for our trade and return this vehicle we purchased. Final Business Response I am emailing you in regards to [redacted]'s comments that she was not offered Tire and Rim Service Contracts. At the time of purchase all of our customers are offered the Tire and Rim Service Contracts and I have a signed document refusing this product. I also offered the Tire and Rim Service Contract over the phone the next day and it was refused once again.[redacted]
