Review: In October 2014, [redacted] Sales presented a contract to construct a carport and replace an exterior door. I gave him almost $3000.00 for a down-payment. He cashed the check the next day at Easy Money. Absolutely NO WORK has been done. He has not delivered any materials. He has not followed through on promises to begin ANY work Letters to the address on the contract have been returned as undeliverable with no forwarding address.Desired Settlement: Give me my money back. I have waited long enough and am tired of excuses.

I have been in contact with Mr [redacted] daughter lm working on a job now he is next to be done . The contract has no start time or finish time on it and ever thing was special order from the door to the carport which I told Mr [redacted] he had a hollow core door ext. Which in the depth don't make so now it will be a solid core at no extra charges .His job will be done shortly as is discussed with his daughter as soon as I'm done with the job I'm on now. The work force is so low here contractors are behind because we can't get extra help not just me.Mr [redacted] will get his job done. I have always finished my contracts .Thank You

Review: Anderson Sales and Construction sells vinyl siding for homes with a 20 year guarantee. [redacted] will come into your home and solicit you to buy his siding. He then sells you siding with a written guarantee that if anything happens to your siding for the next 20 years he will repair it. I live by a baseball field and was worried that the kids would hit balls over the fence and hurt the siding, he told me not to worry the siding would not break and if it did he would repair it. This written guarantee also covered any weather related damage for 20 years.In the last 2 years our siding has fallen off in the wind, and has been hurt by both baseballs and hail. [redacted] promises to come and fix the damage and will even set a date to come and make the repairs but never comes. This has been going on for 2 years now. I am a very patient and forgiving person but when you call someone day after day , week after week, month after month, year after year and he still does not come and do the work you figure out he is dishonest and has stolen your money with false promises.His construction company also installed a beautiful Rocky Mountain door that had a lifetime guarantee that was installed improperly by his incompetent workers leaving me with a door that does not work. He has admitted the door was put in wrong and has been promising to replace it for months but nothing has happened. We refinanced our home to finance these repairs and feel we have been ripped off bad and shocked that the state of Montana would allow anybody like this to do business in the state of Montana.Desired Settlement: I want my siding repaired and I want a new door, a new Rocky Mountain door just like the one I paid for.

My contract nowhere does it say I'm on warrantying my labor for 20 yrs. Also the polar wall siding warranty nowhere does it warranty against baseballs, golf balls or hail and last in the door I had rocky mt doors installed put in. I have the door and the siding to fix this free of charge even though they turned it into this. I have told them that I would take care of this for them out of my pocket because I'm not getting compensation from the manufactures and suppliers. They will have to wait until I have a man or crew free for a free fix.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 9634653, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

How nice of Mr. [redacted] to send in the receipt of the cost of the door for us.The problem is Rocky Mountain Door did not install the door, Mr [redacted]s workers did and it was their improper work for the reason the door went bad and the reason Rocky Mountain Door will not warrenty it. The problems with the door started last fall when the weather turned cooler and we were not able to even close the door without a pry bar. Once I closed it, it could not be opened all winter. We had to put visqueen and tape up to block the gaps where the cold and rain would blow into the kitchen. Yes our heating bill was higher all winter because of the door. Yes we kept calling Mr. [redacted] all winter to help us but he would not respond to any of our calls.Because it is his fault he knows this would have to be payed for by [redacted] construction and he refuses to own up to his responsibilty. My wife is handicapped and has not been able to enjoy her small deck at all this summer now and have a couple flowers because she has no access to her deck.

This is another one of his reasons he will not come to fix the siding because he knows he is responsible for the shody workmanship on the door. We have had several instances in the last 2 years that has hurt the siding with wind, rain and hail that he will not come honor his verbal warranty. Mr. [redacted] does not answer the phone when you call his buisness you just get an answering machine. His message says he will return your call as soon as possible but he never does no matter how many times you call.

I would like to stress once again what [redacted] construction sells is a warranty of their work and products when you do buisness with him. He will not even start work unless you listen to everything about what a great warranty he is selling. I cannot prove to you his verbal commitments but my wife and I know what he said and baseballs and hail were part of his warranty. All we have ever asked is our home put back to normal, we have had a few dates set where he told us he would come but never did so how can we believe him now ?

I am 58 still working but my wife has had to retire for health reasons. We cannot afford to pay twice for what we thought we were getting in the first place. [redacted] construction has had no problem taking money from senior citizens or a handicapped person like my wife and myself. If he lied to us he will lie to other senior citizens and should not be doing buisness in the state of Montana. Could we just pick a date and stick to it to do the work ?
