Liar, Thief, Unprofessional and a lot of other words can describe John Anderson and his concrete business. This started in March 2015, John Anderson was paid 2500.00 to pour and seal a back patio with steps for me. The pouring of the concrete and steps took place but nothing else ever took place. He left a approx. 4 foot mound of dirt in my back yard, never took the forms off of the new patio and steps, and never sealed it at all. My father and I took the forms off and get rid of the big mound of dirt in my backyard, and it still is not sealed. Along with paying for the concrete patio and steps to be poured at my house, my father paid him roughly 1600.00 to pour some concrete and do some gravel work at his house. I know you should never pay someone until the work is done but we were going out of town and he had started my patio and told us it would all be done by the time we got back. So we get back and nothing is done other than him taking our money. My father would stay in contact with him in the coming weeks which turned into months and it was always an excuse or he would do it tomorrow, well tomorrow never came. This went on for six months or so. Then my father filed a small claims suit against him for his money well the court gave him 30 days to resolve the issue. This actually brought him to my dads house and made up a plan of what he was going to do the next day. We all knew he wasn't going to show up and he didn't. So my father did get his judgement against John Anderson concrete for the money he stole from us. We both know that it will be difficult to actual get reimbursed from this thief but we had to try. In closing, I just want to say if you are looking for concrete work and want to get cheated by a thief use John Anderson for the concrete work, and if you don't want to get cheated and have your money stolen use any other concrete company.
