I dont know why this man is saying I scared anyone ,I simply told him I choose not to do any more "new" work for him or his wife for they knew I was on vacation and made a complaint knowing I couldnt do anything until I returned from vacation,I will not have a customer that goes to complaining without first attempting to contact me period,he has his vehicle ,job is complete ,and I need not waste my time no further with this nonsense[redacted] ?

I am rejecting this response because: As I stated in my initial complaint, to which I only did to cover my *** for work that that appeared to me to be faulty, due to the multiple issues that were clearly visible by myself as well as my wife, I was and am still skeptical of the internal things that were done on my vehicleNow with only 1,miles on it after coming out of the shop, (126,079) I am noticing what appears to be multiple coolant leaks One appears to be coming from the water pump that looks new and was supposedly replaced and another from a hose in that general areaI am by no means a mechanic so I cant say for sure what theses parts are for sure but they seem to have been replaced according to my invoice and are now leaking. So, here is my proposal: I am going to take my Chevy S-pick up that was worked on by Anderson Transmission & Car Care to another licensed & reputable mechanic in Redding for an un biased professional evaluation. Upon this un-biased professional evaluation we will then determine if this is indeed a part covered under Anderson Transmission & Car Care post work warranty (month/24,mi warranty)If it is not, it is my dimeIf it is covered, I demand repair as well as re-imbursement for the professional evaluation.Since I will be out money for a rental replacement vehicle during the evaluation and subsequent repair work, if it is deemed to be under warranty I would kindly ask for re imbursement for the rental of said vehicle since I will need transportation to work during the down timeThe vehicle was already in his shop for weeks plus taken back on occasions !I will also give Anderson Transmission & Car Care the chance to honor the warranty work but with a great amount of skepticismAccording to my invoice # 1603, dated on 11/19/2014, pd $1,for a head gasket replacement package, mileage in was 124,and mileage out was 124,? Therefor, how could this vehicle have even been test driven to check for any possible issues? As stated by *** @ Anderson Transmission & Car Care I did indeed take my vehicle back, on occasions, he was very considerate and very helpful in remedying the problems and my wife & I have no idea why he has been so harsh with usWe do understand that mistakes are made and things can be overlooked but this is not acceptable to me with what should be a simple task for a qualified mechanic. We need this matter taken care of expedientlyWe just want our pickup repaired correctly, that's all

this customer was severly mistaken and has recently been in for week check and found all the issues of exhaust leaks are a bad flex pipe we never replaced, that is further repairs he needs, also the so called duct tape!was in fact heat wrap for the starter due to the closeness to exhaust, the price
he complained of more parts etc...thats because there was far more issues with the vehicle due to severe overheating and chain reaction damage and collaterl damage due to neglect of maintaining vehicle and severe hi heat damage in hindsight this facilty is surprised block didnt have damage..after customer picked vehicle up he immediately took it for complete detailing customer further advised that covering warranteed belts and hoses with wd40( or comparable spray )with severe oily residue completely covering engine and compartment, customer advised that all warranties on saturated parts will be voided due to manufacturers warranties strcitly expresses damage from foreign particles, oils ,fluids ,etc shall severly damage products that are rubber compound and electrical...please fill free to call anytime *** as I firmly belive that customers main complaint it not starting when his wife drove to work due to defective battery hold down bolt caused him to make exaggerated remarks on the quality job that was in fact done, but due to customers lack of monies to request the complete job with all new necassary componants and upgrades that he wrongfully expected for it to be minmum damage just replace the gasket!!! as of today cust has been in for his week check this shops standard proceedure, when customer arrived for week check check engine light was pressent code scan reveled ptps issue,p033* crank sensor issue, panti theft fuel issue, ptransmission slipping componant/customer requested sensors be replaced "only" tps and ckp cost of after completion customer redrove the vehicle to reset monitors returned the next daywith another check engine light scan revels ptransmission slipping componant cust advised internal transmission issue further diag needed, customer requested terans code cleared returned vehicle to customer all issues of concern corrected and a estimate for pworst case scenerio plus fluid and tax and hazardous waste fees

Tell us why here... as I have said before, we have no problem taking care of any warranty issue.  if it is leaking or anything we will be happy to take care of it but customer needs to call and make appt for check and advies.  Thank You

I dont know why this man is saying I scared anyone ,I simply told him I choose not to do any more "new" work for him or his wife for they knew I was on vacation and made a complaint knowing I couldnt do anything until I returned from vacation,I will not have a customer that goes to complaining without first attempting to contact me period,he has his vehicle ,job is complete ,and I need not waste my time no further with this nonsense....[redacted]?

I am rejecting this response because: WOW!!!, apparently Mr. [redacted] of Anderson Transmission & Car Care did not read my complaint, . .After delivering my vehicle to him on Oct 25, 2014 to have a head gasket replacement (which was promised on Nov. 5) and finally taking possession of it on Nov 20th, complaining to him on the 27th of certain issues, returning to him on the 2nd of Dec & having him apologize for the mistakes and diagnosing some issues... a bad TPS & CPS, to which I agreed to replace as well as a bad transmission sensor to which he said he would replace for $110... Not only did he respond only to the trivial things in my complaint ,after helping resolve the issues he then proceeded to call me me and left a message(to which I still have) ( on sat Dec 20) that not only scared my wife but left me completely dumbfounded...He then called me directly on Monday the 21st of Dec and chewed me out for filing the complaint... royally, even questioning my manhood??? Really? Then proceeded to hang up on me!?As Stated; my primary complaint was: after picking up my vehicle from his facility, the following day my wife drove it to work. Getting off @ 10:pm she called me to say it wouldn't start. I went to her aid and found 2 loose battery cables, both the positive & the negative.. I tightened these by hand to find that the truck would start... I dismissed this as an oversight... A few days later I had driven the truck to pic & pull in Redding to find a passenger side mirror. looking over the vehicle I discovered that the wiring harness was laying directly on the exhaust manifold and had even melted part of the shield to the exhaust manifold...at that time I called his place of business and left a message to please contact me regarding these issues. I strapped up the harness with a zip tie ... on the 30th of Nov, I proceeded to detail my truck, washing, waxing and putting all of the necessary elbow grease into it to clean it up. On the 2nd of Dec I took it to him for resolve,,,To which he kindly responded to.So, I do not understand his written response, especially after he was so willing to help resolve the issues that his shop created...He did & was helping to resolve the issues and then just turned aggressive on me. I do not understand the explanation of: the block having more damage ?... or the wd40 spray thing...??? or not having the money to fix it??? Money was never an issue, he never said anything about block damage and the WD-40 thing??? did he spray wd-40 on something and then is saying that the manufacturer will void the warranty???? ... I just wanted my vehicle repaired, without all the drama.. Now he says don't bring it back & my wife is scared of him! Please advise

Dwaine does a fantastic job and treats each customer like family. He always stands by his work and I appreciate all his advice and care. He has fixed all of my families vehicles when needed and would recommend him to everyone. Thanks again Dwaine and Kelly!

Took my auto with less than 80000 miles on it for shifting issues. Told it needed a new (rebuilt) transmission. They did the work and broke the muffler mount so it had an exhaust leak when I picked it up and they told me it was already broke and had been replaced before. Strange since I bought the car from the dealer and the exhaust was factory stainless steel, so I paid them to put a muffler on it that rattles. The steering box was bad when I finally got the car back and the transmission shifts hard from first to second. Went back to ask if they could fix the shifting and they told me the motor mounts were bad. Took the vehicle to another shop to fix the steering problems and discovered the steering box had been removed before, again I bought the car from the dealer. Anderson Transmissions owner and employees are constantly [redacted]. Seems like a bad idea for people's cars to be worked on by individuals who cannot pass a [redacted]. Imagine all the auto accidents that could be avoided if the mechanics were in their right mind. So the vehicle still has relatively low miles with a new transmission that has shifting problems, a loud rattling exhaust, and a dangerous steering box in it. Seems these vehicles' steering boxes cannot be rebuilt properly and the manufacturer does not make new ones, so a good box is hard to come by. Unless you take one off a car that works fine then sell it. Point is when [redacted] work on cars all goes array.

From Precision To Perfection. Anderson Transmission and their skill and professionalism is beyond average. They aim to take care of their customers and get to know them personally so they can better any automotive need and get to the error with superb diagnosing and attention to detail. I recommend this auto business above all others. When you are there you feel like family. Thank you to their Master Transmission Specialist D[redacted] Clay without you their wouldnt be any shop capable to deliver the skill and care for our every automotive need and to his Wife Kelly for being excellent in customer service! As well as being Veteran friendly and supportive of all American Made products. - Sincerly a proud customer and a veteran of the community! Note : 5 out of 5 Stars and beyond craftsmanship

Review: I TOOK MY 1998 CHEVY S-10 TRUCK THAT I HAD JUST PURCHASED IN FOR A HEAD GASKET REPLACEMENT TO ANDERSON TRANSMISSION & CAR CARE. DEWAYNE SEEMED PERSONABLE AND VERY KNOWLEDGABLE ABOUT WHAT HE WAS GOING TO DO. ESTIMATE WAS $1,100.00. THE VEHICLE ENDED UP NEEDING A NEW HEAD, I AGREED & APPROVED , EXTRA $$. THE WORK WAS COMPLETED BUT HE TOLD ME OF A COUPLE OF OTHER ISSUES THAT SHOULD BE REMIDIED. THESE WERE THAT THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER WAS BAD BECAUSE OF A RATTLE UPON STARTUP AND SHOULD BE REPLACED..EXTRA $$,HE SAID THE STARTER SHOULD BE REPLACED BECAUSE OF HEAT UP/DRAGGING ISSUE. I APPROVED. EXTRA $$.RECIEVED VEHICLE AND WAS TOLD TO PUT SOME MILES ON IT FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS , COME BACK FOR A CHECK OUT & PRESMOG. FIRST OFF, MY WIFE DROVE IT TO WORK, NIGHT SHIFT, AND IT WOULD NOT START @ 10:00 @ NIGHT WHEN SHE GOT OFF SO I WENT TO SEE WHAT WAS WRONG. I FOUND LOOSE BATTERY CABLE CONECTIONS, "BOTH OF THEM". GOT IT STARTED. SO.. I THOUGHT I WOULD CHECK OUT THE OTHER AREAS THAT HE WORKED ON. I FOUND THAT THE WIRING HARNESS WAS NOT ATTACHED PROPERLY AND WAS LAYING ACROSS THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD WITH THE COVER MELTED, ACTUALLY LAYING RIGHT ACROSS THE EXHAUST AND HAD MELTED THE COVER FOR APPROX 3"!!! SO... I THOUGHT I BETTER CHECK THE STARTER AREA, I FOUND THAT THE STARTER WIRE IS RIGHT UP NEXT TO THE EXHAUST PIPE WITH "DUCT TAPE" WRAPPED AROUND THE CONNECTION...."DUCT TAPE?!" aND AFTER $350.00 FOR A NEW CONVERTER IT STILL RATTLES UPON STARTUP. ALSO... THERE IS AN EXHAUST LEAK THAT IS VERY PROMINATE UPON COLD STARTUP THAT GOES AWAY WHEN IT WARMS UP... SO, EVERY THING THAT HE DID AT LEAST EXTERNALLY WAS DONE SHABBILY. IF WE HAD TAKEN THIS THING OUT OF TOWN FOR THANKSGIVING AS WE HAD PLANNED, IT PROBABLY WOULD HAVE BURNED UP!!!SO NOW I QUESTION THE WORK THAT WAS DONE INTERNALLY ..TODAY IS THANKSGIVING AND I AM THANKFUL I HAD THE FORSIGHT TO CHECK HIS WORK BEFOR HEADING OUT TO SEE FAMILY. I CAN NOT IMAGINE WHAT MIGHT HAVE HAPPENED HAD I NOT.Desired Settlement: I WANT [redacted] @ ANDERSON TRANSMISSION & CAR CARE TO FULLY RE CHECK ALL OF HIS WORK. CHECK & REPAIR ALL WIRING THAT MAY HAVE BECOME HEAT BRITTLE. FIX EXHAUST LEAK, FIX STARTER WIRE, FIX THE RATTLE THAT HE SAYS WAS FROM A BAD CATILYTIC CONVERTER TO WHICH WAS REPLACED YET STILL RATTLES...ALL AT HIS EXPENSE AND IN AN EXPEDIENT TIME. WITH ALL WORK WARRANTED
