Review: paid for a used engine to be put in jeep $1800.00 and the work was not performed in a timely manner 4 weeks to complete or professedly handled poor work preformed. after running engine the engine leaks oil in three or more spots and when brought back for oil change told that the rear main seal is leaking as well as oil plug and oil pan gasket.as a professional mechanic these should have been changed before putting used engine in jeep. told estimated to fix would be 400.00 and when picked up jeep it would cost 580.00 estimated to fix leaks. told " it is a big job" it would have been easier to change the gaskets and seal when putting the engine in the jeep any reputably and professional mechanic would have done the seals as part of the engine install.what a waste of money and incompetence as a mechanic. I feel ripped off by the sloppy work ethic and poor job. I would not recommended Anderson's Auto service

Desired Settlement: I would like to split the original estimation $400.00 to fix the leaks. I would like the leaks fixed and rear main seal fixed for $200.00 because if they were addressed from the start of the engine installed the cost would have been minimal $100.00 or less with easy access to seals. as a professional mechanic shop the mechanic should have know better to put in new seals and then the engine would not be leaking and need to be fixed .

I have not heard anything from Anderson's auto. also as part of the repair they put in a heater core to fix the heat and this week because of the warmer weather I tried to shut off the heat and the heat does not shut off.I really doubt if I would let them work on my truck anymore.
