Review: Back in October I had a lapse in coverage in my insurance because I thought I was paid up further than I was so my lender got a letter about the laps in coverage and they picked up insurance for the vehicle. I went ahead and paid the month of insurance and told both the insurance and my lender that I would be going back to my old insurance company and I did the following month. It has now been a few months later and I get a phone call today that Anderson insurance (safco insurance) is sending me to collections for not paying 3 months of insurance. I tried to speak to [redacted] at Anderson insurance but she started screaming at me telling me that no lender would ever pick up insurance for me unless I asked. I never asked for there insurance but my lender did pick them up to cover the vehicle until I put coverage back on it because they want to cover there lien on the vehicle. [redacted] screamed to me that I was a liar and talked over me many of times and told me she was sending me to collections for wasting her time. Than she hung up on me before the matter was resolved. I have no contract with safco or Anderson insurance nor have I ever signed anything through them and I do not owe them money. I am now being sent to collection by them and I feel what they are doing in very unprofessional and illegal.Desired Settlement: I have done nothing wrong and I do not owe them any money and I do not want this affecting my credit. If I was at fault I would be more than happy to pay it to make it go away but this is illegal I feel to charge for insurance I never had and it to affect my credit.

They are suppose to be a insurance agent but they do not want to take care of anything but collect the money. trying to start a new businrss went through them for 1 day got a better rate some where else so cancelled next asked them to let the insurance know I dont have a business account yet cause I dont have the money for it yet to credit my credit card they send me a check in my business name so I can not cash it now and yhey wont reissue me a new check so I am out 166.50..Will never do business with them again.
