Andrades General Shoe Repair

Review: Andrades Shoe Repair recommended I pay cash for a shoe repair and offered me a discount for paying in cash rather than with Credit. Upon the date of collection, irrespective of the fact that I had a receipt which also stated that payment had been made in full, the attendant refused to return my shoes and advised me to wait until the seller who offered me this discount returned at a later date.

In order to avoid time wasted, I paid for the required amount by credit card as this was the only way I could have got me shoes back. I believe that the company may not be keeping complete records for cash payments, beyond stubs from my receipt. I do not plan to return to this store but I think offering undocumented discounts and then requiring additional payment is unethical and believe they should be required to keep full records. I hope that others who go to this establishment will not be taken advantage of in the future.Desired Settlement: I Think the business has a responsibility to take accurate records of payments of all types.
